Hi,

this came up in my last game:
One of my opponent´s ships was empty. I don´t remember where I heard it, but someone told me, that I can beam my personal aboard an empty ship of my opponent. Can I? I couldn´t find it in the rules.
It says I can beam aboard if the ship is unshielded. But again I couldn´t find when a ship counts as unshielded.

I know there are several cards, that allow beaming aboard my opponent´s ship or through shields, but is there a way without such a card and without special skills that allow reporting everywhere.

I don't recall a rule about beaming and empty ships, but I can answer the second part:

"Unshielded" means that the ship either has SHIELDS 0, NO SHIELDS, or SHIELDS are disabled. (Basically what it says on the tin - the ship is un-shielded.)

If you really want to punish an opponent for leaving an empty ship laying around, just seize it... Problem solved! :shifty:
