If a card such as Royale Casino: Blackjack or Royale Casino: Slots causes both players to score (+/- 5 points), who's bonus point area does the dilemma go into?
Normally bonus points cause a dilemma to be placed in the scorer's bonus point area, regardless of the owner. Such as scoring 15 off your opponent's Cytherians
There are several outcomes here.
1. If you own the card, encounter the card, and score positive points, place it in your bonus point area. (This seems obvious).
2. If you do not own the card, encounter the card, and score positive points, place it in your bonus point area. (This is not so obvious, but consistent with every other rule about where to put a card with bonus points)
3. If you own the card, encounter the card, and score negative points, while opponent scores positive. I would still think as the player encountering the dilemma that this would go in the your bonus point area. Correct?
4. If you do not own the card, encounter the card, and score negative points, while opponent scores positive. I would still think as the player encountering the dilemma that this would go in the your bonus point area. Correct?
Yes this can get weirder.........
Now lets suppose someone is playing Borg, and does not score bonus points. It would seem to me that in this situation, the card should always go in the NON-Borg player's bonus point area, regardless of whether that person scored +5 or -5, since they are the only person that is scoring off the dilemma.
If both players are playing Borg, the dilemma would be discarded since no one scores any bonus points.
Am I correct?
Other question: if both players bust at Blackjack (over 21), do they both lose points, or do they both score 0?
