Do equipment cards (like phasers, pads, kits, etc.) attach to a single person or do they travel with everyone? Also, if equipment cards attach to a single person, do their effects affect only that person or everyone? Thanks.

Equipment is part of a given crew or away team and affects everyone it's present with.
