Is this how to use the skill dot on Anastasia Komananov? Seems rather complicated.

1. Seed Insert Undercover Agent.
2. Play AK to some holodeck.
3. Play Mobile Holo-Emitter on AK.
4. Discard UA to relocate AK and download Covert Agent.
5. Wait for opponent to attempt a mission or battle, then download Issue Secret Orders.
6. Play ISO.
7. Smoke Bomb AK for dramatic effect and maybe somehow pick her up?

Am I getting this right? Or am I missing something obvious?

Anastasia Kalashnikov is not actually an infiltrator and so cannot be relocated in this way. This is why she has the download of smoke bomb -- because unlike every other personnel who can use Issue Secret Orders she can be attacked during the 1 turn prior to using it. (The card says the infiltrator must have been infiltrating for one turn.)

The card is designed for a world of pre-eratta invasive Beam in. You play her directly to a ship with holodeck door on it that already has the mobile emitted onboard, flip invasive beam in and beam her over. You use smoke bomb on the turn after she is beamed over.

Getting the mobile emitter there is easy. You are playing either using a Stolen Attack ship, in which case you download the doctor the turn before downloading Anastasia, or you are playing dominion, in which case you can play the emitter for free to your remote supply depot.

This no longer works post-errata of Invasive Beam in (an errata designed to prevent people from beaming over Khan).

However, you can beam over the doctor wearing his emitter and then I've Been Waiting for You for Anastasia. This is actually pretty easy to set up -- a deck full of holodeck doors anyway allows you to '44 Dom for the Stolen Attack ship by using spacedoor or Dominion command to get out a regular attack ship. You use another door for the doctor and Tent for into Anastasia and I've been waiting for you.

It's a good trick for a hologram deck, basically.

If the emitted had a , it could not exist itself without something allowing it to off of a holodeck Also, it plainly is a real object in Voyager.

You would almost never play the emitter from hand. This uses up a valuable card play and the emitter is hard to get into your hand anyway. Instead, you use the Holodeck door to download The Doctor, who download's the emitter. You can then move the emitter to the of your choice.

Other ways to get it out -- although rarely used -- are by using Gold Pressed Latinum (possibly from Morn), Mila or Bareil.
