Hey techno peeps,

This may sound super dumb but I have no idea.

What controls the time out on trekkcc - is it the site itself? Or my browser?

Cause I am constantly logged out of the site after, I think, 15 min of no activity. Its super annoying. If that's the way the site is run, fine, no worries. I hate it but I'll deal. But if it's on my end .. wuirygwuihw how can I fix this cause omg.

Deep breath :)

Why not just check the "stay logged in" box when you log in?

I can't think of any reason on the site that would cause you to log out in 15 minutes, if you've used the "stay logged in" thing. If I remember correctly, the site itself would allow you to stay logged in up to a year.

Browsers, however, could invalidate cookies whenever they like.

To both: I click the stay logged dialog box every single time ..for good measure.

Jebus: Ah, ok. So its a cookie thing. Its likely on my end then so totally nothing y'all should concern yourselves with.

I appreciate the response though. Very much :)
