If players in Florida are looking for a group:

We have events in Melbourne, FL, roughly monthly, just started back up again after hiatus. We alternate First and Second Edition events. Also have demo decks available for both games if you're looking to learn to play.

If that's too far east for you, or that's not enough Trek, in addition, there are monthly Second Edition events in Orlando hosted by @Jono.
