Yes. BigKev who has some arrogant attitude towards the game. But in games when he plays, he was always fair and modest in games. It would be my greatest pleasure if "BigKev" and "The Ludwig" face each other . I know them both and I would think an outcome would be pretty much unpredictable. I say this as former No 1, Vice-World Champion and 1st Ed Champion long time ago. I am only playing now for fun, when I manage to play... There is another thanks to TK and the Dojo. I would love to see a battle of those two. If they want, that is of course the premise.

Rancour@gmx.de wrote: Sun Mar 17, 2024 3:59 am Peter played a Federation [OS] and some [TE] deck. The Final Frontier as a play engine still works quite well. All his missions were Patrol the neutral zone and establish trade route was used to work around opposing ships in the neutral zone.
This had to be 3-mission win, right? I dunno if it is possible to get to 140 with a pair of PNZ's and Feds, but I could be forgetting something.
Actually, my deck was build for a 2 mission win.

Dr. Farek and literally any other mission specialist. The latter one gets Reflection Therapy, changing the skill to Acquisition.

2x 10 points + 2x 60 points = 140.

However, in two of the four games, I faced the other PNZs, so each mission was worth 110 or 120 points.

The 'nexus', so to say, was when Peter and I faced and the only thing we had to to was to wait: Who gets their 240 CUNNING first?
Peter made a TMW drop and got their first, I would have been there one turn later.
That did cost me one FW, but thanks to three other FWs, it was enough for second place.

I would NEVER has guessed that three people out of eight would show up with PNZ.

That was so exciting :D.

On a different note, this weekend also saw another 1E tournament in Germany at a completely different location on Sunday that drew six players. From what I see from the results, there was one completely new player, two whose previous event in the database is listed as 2015, and another whose name I vaguely remember appearing on the German STCCG website from pre-TrekCC days.
Well done, hope you had as much fun as we did!

That was an actual weak spot. I couldn't come up with a more stable 10 bonus points at the cost of 1 seed card. One idea would have been adding like 2-3 Reflection Therapy to the draw deck to change one of the useless mission specialists to leadership/acquisition/greed as needed. But you need to draw it first and spend a card play...
