I'm calling that I have no chance at winning the Nats tomorrow considering how we're drinking right now. Damn you rum!

:)
Oooo, rum!

Reminds me I need some Baileys for my coffee this morning. *heads for the bar downstairs*

Niall was undefeated after three round, but lost at the top table to peter in round 4. It was a MW for peter, which meant that he and myself ended up tied on VPs, but a single point of SoS broke the tie in my favour.

1. Johannes (das al-kaiser maquis terrorists)
2. Losewig (happy mercenary camping for fun and bonus points)
3. Niall (borg sexecutioning everything and everyone)

fun and beer was had by all!

This was an awesome event. Grats, Johannes!
Afterwards we played judgement day draft where each game featured a black hole and two non disappearing Borg ships. Unfortunately we could only finish two rounds before the venue closed but this format looks pretty awesome as well. Great day of trek with great people in a great location.
So much thanks all of you for attending which was quite a distance for some.

Wow! What a weekend.

6 nights drinking at Gencon: no problem
1 night drinking in Munich: defeated

The final top table with me vs ludvig is the best, funniest and batshit craziest game either of us have ever played.

Borg vs Feds in the ultimate battle for Earth. Memory Wipes, Recruit Mercs, Orbital Bombardment, Post Garrison were just a few of the cards played in that game.

Thanks for hosting and looking after me.

Will see you crazy Germans at Aberdeen Anarchy next month

Yes, this weekend of Trek was awesome. I was the lucky bastard that got the bye in the last round so I could see the final game between Ludvig and Niall. After ten minutes it was clear that it would be known as The Battle For Earth. The battle continued for the next hour. Wolf 359 was child's play compared to this. Klingons have been heard singing songs about it already.

Thank you all guys.

I do wonder if Stephan ever managed
A) to get back to his hotel after getting thrown out the bar for being too drunk
B) to wake up in time
C) to drive home at 10am as planned, if so I hope he didn't get stopped for a breath test

Johannes is the best trek player in the world. With dominant performances at Worlds and now a Nationals title, it really isn't even debatable. Go J! :cheersL:

Haha the last time I saw him that night, he was holding onto a barrier to stay standing with mud and bruises on his face.

I just heard from him. He somehow managed to get back to the hotel and woke up fresh at 10?

How he managed that we will never know.

PS the National badge doesn't seem to be showing up properly

I finally managed to drag my corpse to work and post something here=)

Thanks all for coming, what a fun weekend!
Really cool to know that we have a nice trek location in Munich again, that room was pretty perfect. And the drink service at the table and the Giant 50cm Pizzas made the experience complete. :cheersR:

Congratulations to das Kaiser! Next time this happens I will challenge you to a final confrontation though :D
