That's right, I said it.

I didn't want to just hate for no reason. It was on the other day so I gave it a try since everyone here babbles on and on about it.

God that movie sucked.

Wasn't that 'Evolution'?

(Heh, David "Sex Addiction" Duchovony was great in that.)

As for Galaxy Quest, it took the p-one-double-s out of Trek fandom. It was lots of fun, but moreso for novelty value. So leave it at that and don't over-analyse what really is a parody space-romp.

Galaxy Quest was also neutered before it hit theatres to lower its rating.

Well, I liked it. Sorry, dude! (to poster of post, Killer B)

It had cool music, a cool ship, a convincingly hateable main villian, and the rock monster was pretty kick-ass!

Anyway, IDW has now released a comic mini-series based on the flick, which I also like.

I had been wondering for a long time whether there would ever be a sequel. But now I don't think there will be, as Darryl Mitchell who played Tommy "Laredo" Webber was "paralyzled from the waist down in a 2001 motocycle accident." (I Googled him.)

That's too bad. I suppose the contiuation of the story is now in the hands of IDW!

"Activate...the OMEGA 13!!!!" (I happen to like that quote a lot better than the other major catch phrase this movie had.)

BTW, I was wondering, Stoovie: what the hell does "P-one-double s" mean?

Can't we talk in plain, simple, straightforward "Federation Standard" English around here, or what?

Just wondering. How are ya doin' these days, Matthyas? PM me, OK?
