Really? Huh... apparently I was in the lamest band possible then, because our band camps always sucked. :-p
You must not have gone to the right after-parties.

Did I ever mention I met my husband at high school band camp? He played the euphonium. Since I played tenor sax, we always had the same musical part and always marched next to each other.

Just a voice major in college back when I was there. Hadn't made it pass the piano proficiency then but someday I might be able to pass it.

I'm a self-taught guitarist who's been getting by on the guitar for the last 12 years or so. Good enough to make it on the Church worship band. Probably not good enough to make it as a pro musician though. :)
I sang in the school choir for 6th-12th grades. I miss it, but it was a lot of work.
I can keep a rock beat on a drum kit, but not too much fancier than that.

It's not directly musical instruments, but I've played with MIDI quite a bit and am a semi-pro sound tech on the side, so I can make other musicians sound good too.

Probably enough skills bundling it all together to qualify me for a [SD] Music

All the action was on the bus trips in our band.

You guys had after-parties?? I wish we had those...

- "Hey babe, I hear that sax is better with two."

- "Is that a trombone in your pocket, or are you just 'happy' to play some Sousa?"

- "I see you have two bar-rests. Niiiiiiiiice."

- "I'm doing a solo performance tomorrow, do you wanna come and see?"

I played percussion in high school and college band. My best friend and I have collaborated on music since high school in the mid 80's. We are an electronic music duo called RE:Active.

Check us out at http://www.myspace.com/reactivemusic

We have a song, "Future's End", that is featured on the upcoming compilation release, "Sector One, Volume Two" from Section 44 Records. We are working on our 5th album, "FuturePerfect", and hope to release it next year as our first commercial release.

We're also producing a couple of remixes at the moment. We're working with Denver-based Rhythmic Symphony and Rename from Germany on remixes. We are also collaborating with Brand New Day on a song.

Our music is best described as high energy synthpop.

Besides the afore mentioned instruments, I have also worked with a couple bands. On stage I only sang and have also worked the boards and did "roadie" work. It usually got me free beer and "ins" with the ladies.
