If you were to go this weekend there are about 900 independent wrestling events piggybacking off of WWE WrestleMania.

Get the 100% all American experience and throw $1 bills at strippers.

Also, jaywalking at night while drunk will likely get you stopped by the cops. Play nice, show them your passport and you'll be fine ;)

Then you totally need to find a burlesque show. They're way more fun and sexier than a strip club. They only tend to run on weekends, which I learned last time I was down there during the week.

Here's a what you do in New Orleans:
1. Eat (a base for the drinking)
2. Drink
3. Be merry ('cause you're drinking)
4. Drink
5. Find a voodoo shop (don't spill your drinking on the juju - that's bad)
6. Drink
7. Do a historical tour (possibly while drinking)
8. Eat to even out the drinking
9. Drink some more

On a more serious note, do hit Bourbon Street one night, but don't do more than one. It's a stinky hole full of pickpockets, cheap souvenir stores and overpriced drinks (hurricanes at Pat O'Brien's are yummy, though). The people watching, on the other hand, is outstanding.

The riverboat cruises are fun. I've heard the zoo is good, but haven't been myself. Find a good jazz club, though most of the street musicians are amazing. The Garden District is pretty.
