A lot of our users here have names that don't begin with a capital letter, usually because the entire name is lower case.
But that always leaves me wondering: How do you refer to them in that case? Names usually begin with capital letters (and so do sentences, making it look weird when you begin a sentence with someone's name), and sometimes (rarely), refusing to use capital letters for someone's name is seen as a sign of disrespect (meaning I'm sure to see boffo97 and dave hines everywhere now...)
On the other hand, refusing to use someone's name the way they entered it could also be taken as a sign of disrespect.
So, what do you guys think? Particularly those of you with lower case names? Do you care either way? Am I overthinking this?
