Trailer 2 is up and looking to kick the hype train into full gear. I didn't see a thread for this movie yet so I figured we might as well start one.

I was trying to kinda "keep it cool" with respect to Endgame; but, judge me if you must, this trailer pushed me into a state of high excitement and anticipation.

I love how they can hype excitement now without actually revealing anything about the movie.

(They reveal that Tony and Nebula do make it off the ship and back to earth to stand with the rest of the team and I felt that was unneccessary to reveal. They really hyped the suspense that he might actually die there in the previous trailer.)

in there that I had whished they'd have gone without because it sort of undermines the previous trailers/teasers.

No I mean the way they went through everyone else like “remember this beloved character you’ve known for 10 years”, even for Arrow Man and Russian Lady, but who gives a shit about Hulk.

I just find it funny that it takes two and a half minutes to say pretty much... nothing.

New information (by my count):

* Tony confirmed back on earth. (Shocking!)
* Ant-Man escapes from Quantum Realm (Who'da thunk it?!)
* White suits! (Classy!)
* Captain Marvel is in this film (I suppose this counts as new information if you're boycotting The Girl Movie?)

Don't get me wrong - I like that they're keeping the plot under wraps, but most of this seemed like the least necessary "hey, remember Marvel Studios? We've got a new movie!" hype ever.

True. But remember these trailers aren't really made for hypernerds like us who follow everything. We're gonna go and see the movie anyway.
The trailers are made for the general movie going audience who need to be reminded of just that.
