I think all you need to do to fix it is have Bruce play Oliver, and Jon play Michael.

You are correct. Luckily the rd 2 pairings were even still correct since the mistake still had Nickolay paired down (instead Oliver who was wrongly given the loss was the one who was actually paired down)
