I’ve had several requests recently concerning Decipher PAQ –era deck lists I had tucked away on a backup drive. I’ve sent them out via PM twice already, so decided to post them here for any one else interested.

Important warning: These decks were built during the early Decipher-era and may require modifications. They were built for the early meta game – many have all space or planet missions – and do not take into account any CC-era errata.

Fed Think Tank Deck
From Christopher Swearingen
September 1996

I wanted to play a deck that really worked... but I did not want bridge crew '95 because that is too easy and too predictable. So I sat down with my cards and created an interesting deck.

To begin with, I wanted strong characters. As it turned out I polarized my deck with a lot of engineers. And soon, the theme was born. And it was very playable.

Dilemmas. Pick 14 of your own. I have certain combos that I have found to be quite disasterous to away teams and crew.

Seed the Cryosatellite and Tox under your outpost. It helps to sneak them in as intentional dilemma seeds under an opponent's mission that you can do easily. Once the Tox is in hand, play some events to get rid of any KUs that your opponent may have. Play the Tox, Masaka your hand if you have to ... and then bip the opponent's outpost. If your opponent has no ships, the game is (virtually) over! You can even nuke your own outpost provided you have a ship with an engineer on it. Res-Q it back and build it else where.

My deck was based upon killing the opponent's outpost. However, sometimes it just does not happen. My missions are designed so that 3 missions and limited personnel can still win the game. All space definately stretches the opponent for seeds, making it easy to do missions.

Cautions.I had some problems getting personnel in my hand w/o a Red Alert. I hate to admit it, but this deck really should be played as a speed deck. I just did not have the Red Alert to report everyone. Swap out the Temporal Rift for the Red Alert. You can report your people and then make them smart with a Yellow Alert.

PLAYING THE DECK

Space line: Try to get the Study Nebula Mission to lie at one end of the Spaceline and Explore Dyson Sphere a bit from the other end and any Space Mission you can attempt at the same end as EDS. Get Reunion close to Study Nebula.

Seeding Dilemmas, Artifacts and Outpost: The Dilemmas are combos either forcing your opponent to abandon the mission or use many personnel and run into a big Q-Flash. The last three Dilemmas combine as a "Secret Mission In Two Parts": Seed the Cytherians at last under the Mission at the end of the Spaceline, and BPD and CSF under Study Nebula. Seed The sattelite under Explore Dyson Sphere.

THE PERFECT GAME

You solve EDS get the personnel and the Gift Box. Search your Deck in the following order:

- Future Enterprise, Q's Tent, Dr.Reyga, Tasha Yar-Alternate, Marouk. (Points: 35 (40 if Rager or Mordock was present, 45 if both))

- (If you fetch Personnel wait a turn and play them first.)

- Take the Future Enterprise to the Mission with Cytherians and attempt it. since you seeded them last, you will encounter them before anything else could harm you. Use Lakanta to get to the other end and score the points. (Points 50/55/60)

- Fly to study Nebula. Don't cloak! Use the Q's Tent and fetch you Outpost. End turn.If your opponent should try to attack you, use Ensign Tuvok's ability to prevent him from this.

Next turn (should be the last):Build your Outpost, attempt Study Nebula. (Points: 100/105/115) If you have lost some points try to solve Reunion.

The Tent:The Tent contains one vital card for your deck: The Outpost. The other cards are for emergencies only.

Finish:I hope this deck will work as good for you as it did for me.

About the deck:
I designed this deck on a whim. Star Trek Customizable Card Game seems to have more female gamers than any other CCG, so I decided to give it an all-female deck. I posted this on the BBS a few days ago, and since then, I have received tons of praise and requests for its design. I thought I'd send it in for the benefit of all.

Strategy

A good strategy is to use your Matriarchal Society to guard your Betazoid Gift Box, seeded preferrably at Avert Danger. Since this deck is tight, use Avert Danger to get cards to complete the rest of the missions required to score 100 points.

Note: This deck does not include Kivas Fajo: Collector in the main deck, as I consider him cheap and dishonorable.

The deck practices the old modem, "Do unto others, then split!" Using Temporal Rifts to slow down the opponent, and a high dosage of potent dilemmas, this deck will keep your opponent from getting very far in points.

Meanwhile, with such a small play deck and a couple of Kivas Fajos, the Klingon commandos can be formed quickly. The personnel are fine-tuned to provide a multiple of all needed skills and classifications for the missions and to overcome most deadly dilemmas from the opponent. The missions are all planet, causing a number of the opponent's dilemmas to be worthless. They all have skill requirements that are easy to come up with for Klingons, and most of the personnel can participate in solving a majority of those.

1. With all planet missions your missions will probably be seeded rather scarcely allowing easier play

2. Varon T-disruptor is in there to help with the missions which need Strength. Both Fever Emergency and Relief Mission can be done with 1 or 2 people. Usually I put the Varon-T under the Cloaked Mission due to the fact that it can be completed by any number of personel - it is a quick thirty and the Varon-T.

3. Lakanta is there primarily for his Traveler skill and because the Klingons are beyond stupid and need some brains in their ranks.

4. Hunt For DNA does two things. 1 - It is a big scorer which is doable...the skills are there and in good numbers. 2 - It is there to attact the big dilemmas away from the smaller yet much much easier to do missions.

5. 2 Red Alerts to make sure you get one out, which is a must for a good crew deck like this.

6. Genetronic Replicator has always been a fave of mine. With Vekor 1 and 2, Divok, plus the Medical Kit and 5 Officers, the Medical is there to form up an almost invincible away team.

Klingon Kill Deck
From Robbie Clark
September 1996

Overall, I think this deck could beat almost any deck! It sometimes seems that no one thinks it's worth the time to try to build anything but Federation decks. Everyone in this deck (with a few exceptions) was not exactly friends with the Enterprise crew. That is why I like them so much!

This deck is the classic "Attack!" Deck. It features some of the Federation's worst enemies (Baran, Lursa, Duras). I've got enough people to handle most dilemmas but if you want you can substitute a Full planet Scan or Governor Worf for a DS/TC. Since this is an attack deck, we'll need some people to get us where we're going!

The personnel: We need to get off to a fast start so we have our good buddy Lakanta in to kick us from one end of the spaceline to the other. Since he, Berlingoff, and K'mtar are AU personnel, you won't need to worry bout the Fek'lhr being stalled (if you're careful). If you have him, Governor Worf can also help with this.

The ships: Since this is a space battleing deck, we have the heavy hitters! There are really only two that you need to worry about getting staffed (Fek'lhr, Husnock). The rest take only one or two staff.

The dilemmas: Most dilemmas weaken your opponent (and hopefully take a ship or two's captain away). There are the well known combos (Females Love Interest + Maitriarchal Society, and Zaldan + Shaka When The Walls Fell) and a hard set of dilemmas (Tarellian Plague Ship + Empathic Echo + REM Fatigue Hallucinations + Cardassian Trap).

The events: The events (Captain's Log, Nutational/Metaphasic Shields) mainly pump up your ships. Red Alert gives you a quick start, and since you have so few personnel, Res-Q can get a vital one back.

The interrupts: The basic stuff. DS/TC is for the classic attack-attack again method.

#1: The Young and the Romulan
From Kathy McCracken
August 1996

[Kathy McCracken (known as Major Rakal) was a Decipher developer and early rules guru]

Welcome to the first of Major Rakal's Romulan Theme Decks. These are not intended to be "power" decks, just some ways to keep your opponent guessing, while having a little fun with the "forgotten" affiliation, our friends the Romulans.

This first deck is built around a skill commonly considered fairly useless--Youth. The Romulans have no less than seven personnel with Youth; three are universal, and all have useful skills in addition to their Youth.

Although the Federation sports eight youngsters, four have no other skills to enhance their classifications, and none except Wesley Crusher are likely to see play in any but the most basic Fed decks. The Klingons are even worse in the Youth department: only five, of which only Divok (MEDICAL) and B'Etor are very likely to turn up.

As you will see, we can put together a respectable Youth-ful Romulan crew, while using the relative lack of Youth among our non-Romulan opponents to our advantage.

The Personnel: All Romulans with Youth are included, with multiples of the universals Jaron (SECURITY) and Varel (SCIENCE). Because Jera (MEDICAL) is a Hologram, a Holo-Projectors event is necessary, plus a Medical Tricorder to turn the Varels into doctors. An Engineering PADD lets the Varels also double as ENGINEERs. Some compromises were necessary here on the Youth theme: with no Astrophysics skill (for Study Plasma Streamer) available among the youngsters, Mirok was added (also providing one real ENGINEER); and for Empathy (to get by some of the nasty AU dilemmas) and a second Diplomacy (for Q-Nets and Shaka), we have the non-aligned Maques.

The Ships: Only one D'Deridex class ship is included because only Sela has a Command Star. The Science Vessel and the Pi have no staff requirements, good Range, and poor Shields that can be enhanced with the Metaphasic Shields (playing off Varel and Mirok). If the low shields on the Pi bother you, replace it with another Science Vessel or even a Mercenary Ship (you have lots of Staff stars).

The Missions: The two Romulan missions requiring Youth (FGC-47 Research and Study Plasma Streamer) were included; Extraction is a mission to acquire an age-reversal drug (maybe to keep our Romulan youth from ever growing old); plus three other missions making good use of the skills of our personnel. If we ever get a young Romulan with Music (preferably a CIVILIAN female!), I would include Risa Shore Leave and a Romulan on Federation Espionage card.

The Dilemmas: Rascals turns your opponent's personnel into kids, Wind Dancer can be passed by Youth, Sarjenka is an alien child, Birth of "Junior" involves an alien space baby, and Quantum Singularity Lifeforms resulted from alien young incubating in a Romulan engine core (OK, the last two are stretching the theme, I said this was for fun). Sarjenka is to be seeded last under your own outpost, where one of your "kids" can help Sarjenka, and help themselves to a 5-point bonus, while waiting for the rest of the crew to show up. The 11 dilemmas you choose to complement the other four theme dilemmas will depend on your personal tastes, and what affiliation and planet/space mission mix you expect your opponent to be playing. Cytherians is a nasty followup to Birth of "Junior" (because the ship will probably be destroyed before it ever reaches the end of the spaceline); one of the opponent's choice killers works well with Wind Dancer by letting you choose the one critical skill to kill off; and Nagilum is a good followup to Rascals (because it's extremely doubtful you'll have

sufficient Strength or 3 Diplomacy left), as is Outpost Raid (even if you're not at an outpost, it can be hard to muster even 18 Strength if four people are reduced to 2 each).

Other Theme Cards: Lower Decks boosts the stats for the junior officers (Jaron and Varel). The Humuhumu... (whatever) will give your crew more Cunning than they know what to do with for Explore Typhone Expanse. The FGC-47 mission gives you a place to play Isabella on an opponent's ship which hopefully will not have Youth aboard (try to play this before they encounter Rascals!). The Vulcan Stone of Gol can be used to kill an opponent's non-youthful Away Team that you have stopped with one of your dilemmas (because of the Cunning defense, this works especially well on Klingons; about 50-50 on Romulans; relatively useless against Feds).

Defenses and Other Helpful Cards: The Traveler, Red Alert, Kivas Fajo, and Betazoid Gift Box help you get your cards out fast. Put the Gift Box (with the Vulcan Stone of Gol and your Outpost) at Sensitive Search; with three Varels you are most likely to get a Computer Skill early. Res-Q and Palor Toff can resurrect vital personnel and equipment (there is no backup for D'Tan's Archaeology or all-important Integrity-boosting, or for Mirok's Astrophysics). Amanda Rogers and Q2 protect your important events and interrupts, and Kevin Uxbridge lets you zap your opponent's troublesome events.

Possible Replacements: Four of the listed missions are rares; with the exception of FGC-47 Research (included for its theme value) any of them could be replaced with the common or uncommon Relief Mission, Excavation, Covert Installation, or Plunder Site. The rare Compromised Mission is also do-able but since you have a total of only two Treachery, it is more heavily dependent than any other mission on drawing the right personnel. A Betazoid Gift Box could be replaced with another Kivas Fajo; the Vulcan Stone of Gol with any killer dilemma; and the Pi and Devoras with a Scout Ship and a D'Deridex (or just more Science Vessels). If you want to go with fewer dilemmas, you can add a Yellow Alert (makes most of your Cunnings even for Hunter Gangs), Thermal Deflectors (for Firestorms and Thought Fires, but if you have D'Tan along nearly everyone will be immune to these anyway), and/or a spare Medical Tricorder or Jera.

The Personnel: Personnel selection was easy. If they didn't have Treachery they made the first cut; a few whose skills were superfluous for the selected missions were then discarded. Multiples of four universal personnel give you the backup MEDICAL, SECURITY, ENGINEER, and SCIENCE you will need to overcome dilemmas, and they all benefit from Lower Decks (see Events). Although no Archaeology missions were included, D'Tan was kept for his all-important skill of providing all Romulans without Treachery (including himself!) with a +1 Integrity boost--enough to save most of his low-integrity (but non-Treacherous) friends from Firestorms or Thought Fires. Two non-aligned personnel were added - Maques for his Empathy (since my alter ego unfortunately does not qualify for this particular deck), and Dr. Reyga as a backup Astrophysics for the Lonka Pulsar mission.

The Ships: With 8 command stars and 9 staff stars, you should have no trouble staffing a couple of D'Deridex class ships with their excellent stats. I included three unique ships, but the universal D'Deridexes are nearly as good. I left out the Decius because there is only one AU personnel in the deck.

The Missions: The main feature of the missions, of course, is that none of them require Treachery. You should have little trouble meeting any of the requirements (even Investigate Massacre's Integrity>35); you have at least three of every skill required, except for Astrophysics where you have two.

A number of other missions can be played with this deck. Study Stellar Collision, Explore Typhone Expanse, Sensitive Search, Study Plasma Streamer, FGC-47 Research, and Relief Mission are all easily done. Excavation, Iconia Investigation, and Investigate "Shattered Space" are all possible, but you'll have no redundancy built in for some of the skills (i.e., you'll have only one Archaeology and two Astrophysics), making it more of a gamble that you'll get the right personnel.

The Dilemmas: The first 12 dilemmas are to be placed, in pairs as listed, under your opponent's missions. (If your opponent doesn't have four planet missions, you'll have to do some rearranging.) Conundrum, The Gatherers, Alien Parasites, Hologram Ruse, Firestorm, and Thought Fire all penalize decks with low integrity, and are all dilemmas your opponent may use against you if he expects you to be playing Romulans. Zaldan can be overcome with Treachery, which is pretty hard to come by in Fed decks, and not even too common for Klingons. Conundrum is preceded by Birth of "Junior" to make it likely that the ship will never catch yours before being destroyed. Frame of Mind lowers all of one personnel's stats, including Integrity, and so is useful as a setup for anything requiring high Integrity.

The Q dilemma you can either seed under an opponent's mission (seed first so he will encounter it last), or put it under one of your own, seeded last, to dispose of all the dilemmas there. If you're careful in the placement of other dilemmas, you may also be able to attempt one or more of your opponent's missions if they are available to Romulans (no Espionage allowed in this deck, it just doesn't seem right for all the Integrity you'll be playing with).

Defenses and Other Helpful Cards: Lower Decks is very helpful for enhancing the all the attributes, particularly Integrity, of the numerous universals. Although it's not cumulative, two are included to help ensure it will come up early. The Traveler, Red Alert, two Kivas Fajos, and Betazoid Gift Box will help you get all your important cards quickly. The Gift Box can go under any of the planet missions (probably at your outpost), with either Covert Rescue or Investigate Raid preferred over Investigate Massacre as neither has an Integrity requirement. Amanda Rogers, Q2, and Kevin Uxbridge are universally useful; in particular, be sure you have at least one Amanda in your hand in case your opponent tries to nullifies your Q dilemma with a Q2. The mix of classifications in your crew is good enough to support a Senior Staff Meeting to get rid of a space dilemma; and with Palor Toff or Res-Q you could bring it back for another mission. And finally, a Security Sacrifice seems noble enough to be in keeping with the theme.

Commander's Log, Supplemental: Notes from Major Rakal

Five Romulan commanders and a subcommander were chosen, with six missions based on episodes in which they appeared. All the pertinent Romulan characters from the referenced episodes were included to enhance the theme, even though a few are not strictly useful in terms of skills. Because there were no SECURITY personnel shown in these episodes, and only Taris has MEDICAL skill, Telak, Taul, Takket, and a Soong-type Android were added. Also, with nine OFFICERS in your deck, a Medical Kit and an Engineering Kit should mean you have no lack of those skills. And with all those OFFICERS turned medics, the Genetronic Replicator, together with Thermal Deflectors from your Tent, should keep your Away Teams alive through most of those killer planet dilemmas. The major skills weaknesses are SCIENCE, Empathy, and an AU icon for staffing the Decius (just one each), so be especially protective of N'Vek and Major Rakal. Backup personnel for these skills and others and a spare Soong-type Android are included in Q's Tent, along with a spare ship.

Because the five unique ships match five of the commanders for Captain's Log benefits to Weapons and Shields, this event is included in Q's Tent to aid you in dispatching an opponent's ship or two in between solving missions. In fact, any two with Captain's Log in effect can destroy most other (unenhanced) ships outright; three can destroy an outpost.

Asteroid Sanctuary (from The Pegasus) will hide you from battle in case you haven't got your Captain's Log or the right captain out when a Klingon armada gangs up on you, and Wrong Door can be used either to misdirect your opponent if he should have the audacity to try to slip through your Iconian Gateway, or to counter a Q's Tent or a Revolving Door.

The only theme-related dilemmas are the Borg Ship (the likely cause of the mysterious destruction of the outpost at Tarod IX) and of course, the Iconian Computer Weapon. Other dilemmas may be replaced to suit your expected opponent, but all can be used in good combinations for any deck. All the other usual events and interrupts are either in the draw deck or the Tent (the omnipotent trio, Palor's and Res-Q, Traveler, Red Alert, and Kivas Fajo), with four Q's Tent doorways in the draw deck to help retrieve your cards. The Iconian Gateway and your outpost should go under Strategic Diversion; with six Treachery in the draw deck and two more in the Tent, it has by far the easiest requirements to meet.

******

Commander's Log, Stardate 41986: Commander Tebok reporting. Following the destruction of several of our outposts near the Neutral Zone, I was given command of one of the new D'Deridex class warbirds. My orders were to cross the Neutral Zone and determine whether the Federation's Starfleet was responsible for the destruction. Subcommander Thei and I made the first Romulan contact with the Federation in 53 standard years when we encountered the U.S.S. Enterprise near Tarod IX, only to discover that their border outposts are also being destroyed in the same manner as ours. We agreed to exchange any information either of us may obtain about our unknown mutual enemy. (Mission: Investigate Massacre; Episode: The Neutral Zone)

Commander's Log, Stardate 42609: Subcommander Taris reporting. Under cloak, I followed the Enterprise to a rendezvous with another Federation ship within the Neutral Zone, intercepting transmissions of the Yamato's logs for later analysis. When the Yamato exploded catastrophically, I decloaked, denied Picard's accusation of destroying the ship, and demanded that the Enterprise withdraw at once. He agreed to do so after investigating the cause of the Yamato's destruction, but a short time later proceeded further into the Neutral Zone, to a world dangerously close to our borders. I demanded again that they withdraw and stated my claim to the planet for the Empire. The first officer refused, but warned me to destroy a probe launched from the planet's surface that attempted to scan us. Before long, the system malfunctions that had begun to plague the Haakona escalated until the auto-destruct sequence initiated spontaneously, and I was unable to deactivate it. When Picard mysteriously appeared on my bridge, I was certain that he had somehow caused this, but he was beamed away before he could die with us. At the last moment, the Enterprise transmitted instructions to us for purging our systems of the invading program which nearly caused our destruction.
(Mission: Iconia Investigation; Episode: Contagion)

Commander's Log, Stardate 43349: Commander Tomalak reporting. After our scout ship Pi crashed while on a covert mission in Federation territory, I took the Decius into the Neutral Zone in hopes of rescuing her crew of two. When I discovered that the Enterprise had already intercepted her distress call and had captured the critically injured Subcommander Patahk, I proceeded to the crash site on Galorndon Core despite Captain Picard's warning not to enter Federation space. There I demanded Patahk's return, but was informed that he was dead. As I prepared to open fire, they beamed aboard one of their officers who had also been stranded on the planet, along with the Pi's other officer, Centurion Bochra, who assured me that he had not been mistreated and that, in fact, the Federation officer had assuring Picard that the incursion was the result of a navigational error.
(Mission: Covert Rescue; Episode: The Enemy)

Commander's Log, Stardate 43462: Commander Tomalak reporting. As a test of his loyalty, the Romulan High Command has been feeding disinformation to Admiral Alidar Jarok for several months, convincing him that a secret base had been established on Nelvana III, in the Neutral Zone, in preparation for an invasion of Federation space. He proved his disloyalty when he stole a scout ship and defected to the Federation. He was given asylum on the Enterprise, where he informed Picard of the supposed base. When Picard violated the Neutral Zone to investigate, three warbirds including mine decloaked and demanded surrender of the Enterprise. Unfortunately, the Enterprise was accompanied by three cloaked Klingon warships, so I effected a strategic withdrawal.
(Mission: Strategic Diversion; Episode: The Defector)

Commander's Log, Stardate 44390: Admiral Mendak reporting. We have successfully retrieved our deep-cover operative, Subcommander Selok, who has been posing as the Vulcan Ambassador T'Pel for the last 20 years, and who was supposedly meeting with us for peace negotiations. Although we attempted to disguise the retrieval by simulating "T'Pel's" death in a transporter accident as she beamed from the Enterprise to the Devoras, Picard somehow saw through the ruse and accused us of kidnapping the "Ambassador." Imagine his chagrin when he discovered that he had unwittingly assisted in the repatriation of a Romulan spy.
(Mission: None; Episode: Data's Day)

Commander's Log, Stardate 46519: Commander Toreth reporting. I was recently ordered, supposedly by the Tal Shiar, to take aboard the Khazara a mysterious cargo of unknown origin or content, and transport it to the Kaleb Sector. The Tal Shiar officer guarding the cargo, Major Rakal, proved to be a traitor, as did my Science Officer N'Vek, who surreptitiously beamed the cargo to the Federation starship Enterprise while pretending to fire on the ship. My pilot Palteth immediately killed N'Vek for his treachery, but the Enterprise beamed the Major away from the Khazara before I could interrogate and execute her.
(Mission: Quash Conspiracy; Episode: Face of the Enemy)

Commander's Log, Stardate 47457: Commander Sirol reporting. Following our discovery of a piece of debris from a Federation starship in the Devolin System, I was ordered to locate the rest of the ship. We soon encountered the Enterprise, whose captain claimed they were conducting geological surveys. Unable to prove otherwise, we continued on our search but returned to the area later, to discover the Enterprise had entered a large cavity in an asteroid. Suspecting that they had discovered the missing starship, I directed the Terix's disruptor beams on the opening, sealing them in. I then hailed Picard and offered to help them out of their predicament by beaming his crew onto the Terix and taking them as our "guests" to Romulus. He declined, and shortly, to my astonishment, his ship decloaked outside of the asteroid. This clear violation of the Treaty of Algeron was explained by Picard as the fault of a treacherous admiral aboard his ship. We are assured that the admiral will face a court-martial for violating the Treaty.

Strategy

The main goal is to get enough MEDICAL people and Genetronic Replicators in play so that when you attempt a mission no one in your away team will die. The four Q2s are there to protect your Genetronic Replicators from being destroyed. It is suggested that one Edo Probe should be seeded in front of a Radioactive Garbage Scow and the other Edo Probe should be seeded in front of the Cytherians. It is best to put the Q dilemma under the Investagate Alien Probe mission because this deck does not handle space dilemmas too well. Or the Q could go under the planet where you intend to seed your artifact.

I also suggest that the Yuta, Tarellian Plague Ship, and Barclay's Protomorphosis Disease be seeded under the same mission with the Yuta being the first dilemma your opponent should encounter and the Barclay's Protomorphosis Disease being the last one he/she will encounter.

Now it's time to have some fun winning!!!

The idea of this deck is to score the points from all the Dilemmas and then complete 1 mission. Seed a Q-Flash under each of your opponent's missions, and the points Dilemmas under 4 adjacent missions (your opponent's if possible, to prevent them from seeding on top of them. However, being a 30 card seed deck, this will be rare).

ASAP, get Mickey D in play along with a few other personnel, including at least 1 Romulan, so you can attempt some missions. In 4 turns you should have scored all the points Dilemmas (unless your opponent is playing all space). Then simply complete 1 mission, one of your opponent's if possible, as it should have no Dilemmas under it.

Meanwhile, to stop your opponent from getting too many points, use 1 Rogue Borg at a time to stop their crew (most tourney decks use 1 large crew) and time travel pod if you can complete a mission quickly. This deck should win in about 10 turns.

Great to browse through these; a stroll down memory lane. Thanks again for sending/putting them up. Fun to see Major Rakal featured!

And just now I remembered -- I must have, somewhere, some papers with jotted-down lists of the oldest versions of my primary FED deck (1995). One of those remained unbeaten, as well, until I disassembled it; I think that happened when I stopped playing with singles/first copies -- so most of the bridge crew went into the binder (and thus did my winning streak go out the window 8) ). I guess they are all Premiere-only, and/or PAQ.

If people are interested, I'd try and look them up. But, as said, variations on 1 ( [Fed] ) theme only -- didn't have [Kli] or [Rom] decks yet, back then.
