draws dont speed the game up, freeplays do. draws give you options and options are fun. there are also ways to slow the game down already, just nobody plays them.
i also dont agree with the new fetish of slowing the game down at all cost, its in a healthy state right now. most decks with freeplay and draw engines have skill gaps. actually a surprisingly nice balancing
let players report how many turns they actually played to get a realistic database.

i dont like that the cc makes up problems on their own, that really are none. a deck is overpowered when it dominates the meta and has no countermeasures. should droids ever become a deck, player can easily hate it out by running the appropriate dilemma stacks. balance is more complicated than one card interaction
