Use this thread to discuss the decklist Decipher Archives: Lore\'s Legions Deck - 1999 gencon open 2nd place.

So, for a project of my own, I was searching in the wayback machine for old decks.

To avoid them being lost to time and digital rot, I plan on copying them over here bit by bit.

This one was @LORE 's 1999 Gencon second place deck.

Whoops. I had that in the notes at one point, then lost the whole deck and had to redo it.

Fixed now.

Dan Allman (a fellow Minnesotan) had a extremely well-tuned Federation Assign Mission Specialists deck which he piloted to first place at Gen Con in 1999 and then went on to finish 2nd at the World Championships that very same year to another fellow Minnesotan Mike Harrington.

As Evan wrote, this game was basically decided on the dice roll as Dan went first and solved his 2nd and final mission I believe the turn before I could play my Kurlan Naiskos and obliterate his ship / personnel. All was not lost though, as The Big Goodbye would go on to win the Team Event the very next day. Good times! :cheersL:
