Use this thread to discuss the decklist Decipher Archives: Its a Volatile Galaxy - 2nd place wizard world invitational - 07/1999.

And here the pendulum swings back to a competitive, somewhat "cheese" deck.


- All space missions, disrupting dilemma combos
- every mission easy and worth 60+ points
- Lots of board wipes and palor toffs.


Now, while overall I think the game is in a healthier place then when this was wrecking face, I do also miss the hard control archetype that this comes close to representing being around.

There's something to be said for board wipes and the like existing. (IMO)

Good call out. Yeah, PNZ was a design mistake on a few levels I think. Honestly, it shouldn't have been universal. There were 4 other Neutral Zone missions at the time it was printed, making it worth 50 points. If they really felt the need to make it universal, then a limit of 2 might have been interesting.
