Hi folks,

I'm pretty out of the loop with 2E these days. As such, I'm looking for advice and suggestions as to what I should play for next weekend's North American Continental Championships. I'd like to play something that is more fun than good, but not something that'll get steamrolled over the course of the day.

Any ideas?

TNG mutual advantage deck. It’s fun and can win with personnel like Data and Barclay.

It's gotten some good additions in recent sets. Definitely something worth trying.

5 Space Voyager Field Studies/ Microteam

Hasn't been seen as much lately and could be a sneaky meta play.

Hazardous Materials MIRROR Starfleet

This one has been on my list for awhile. You lose some of the normal [SF] tricks, but Reflections setting up Hazardous Materials can be devastating, abed there's enough fun equipment cards to keep that party going.

Treachery Bajorans are quite good, but still pretty uncommon to see. They have a lot of fun tricks, I always enjoy playing them.

If you haven't played Equinox since Pressing On came out, they're really quite competitive and also have some surprises up their sleeves.

Yes, several.

P.S. They are Rainbow DS9 is always fun to use. I've got to say John's deck from last weekend seems like a lot of fun and I would be tempted to use it if not for being contractually obligated to play something else.

P.P.S. I should disclose that I'll be there as well, so take that under advisement.

Make it triple HQ so that Alex can download the Tribunal Sentencing!
Mmm, and we'll need a way to give a copy of Karemman Fleece to the opponent too...
So Terok Nor, Qo'Nos, Earth HQ of some kind, two Diplomacy missions and bonus points. That'll give you access to Tribunal, Unsavory and the Fleece...

who probably doesn't have this deck somewhere

Generally yes, but I won’t be there!
