[1E-Int] Interrupt
Temporal Tag

Plays on an opponent's Temporal Agent OR opponent's non-facility [1E-AU] card at a Time Location it is not native to. Return target to its owners hand, or place Interrupt on it and relocate it to your Temporal Agent at a Spaceline location (personnel are captured, ships are commandeered, otherwise card is stolen). (Unique.)

[D] 2 Positive Identification,

Randomly select a personnel to be stopped. Unless you reveal a copy of that personnel from your hand, randomly select a personnel with Law or Medical to be stopped.

In a universe with shapeshifters, changelings, mirror universe counterparts, transporter duplicates, clones, time travellers, and android copies, correctly identifying who someone is has become more important (and time consuming) than ever.

Notes:

Couldn't think of any way to represent retinal scanners directly, so went for the reason they are used. You run into a situation where one of your people gets stopped to check ID, and unless you can show their ID (from hand) then you'll either need a lawyer or a doctor to prove who they are.

All the Best,

Mattgomery Scott.

[S] 1 Dark Matter Collision

Randomly select a personnel with Astrometrics or Physics to be stopped.

In 2376, a graviton ellipse being investigated by the USS Voyager was attracted to a dark matter asteroid. The two anomalies collided, causing severe gravimetric distortions inside the ellipse.

Notes:

"One Small Step" surprisingly hasn't really been used for cards by Decipher or the Continuing Committee yet. So I thought it would be fun to make a cheap dilemma that could set up the only card from this episode (Graviton Ellipse) and could also be handy for setting up the consequences as featured on another card (Gravimetric Distortion).

And as my last truly random card prompt didn't go so well, lets try something a bit simpler that's also from this episode. A one shot character, played by a Star Trek stalwart.

For you: John Kelly

All the Best,

Mattgomery Scott.
