Alright, since On Basilisk Station has not come into my library we will take a week to read A Beautiful Friendship a Honorverse book set several generations in the past. It has no ships and takes place on one planet, so no new battle scenes this go round. We will however see a significant portion of the early human-treecat relationship. And hexapumas, we will also see hexapumas.

Tempting Fate
A common treecat proverb says "A wise scout does not venture into the death fang's lair to see whether or not it is home.
Plays after you initiate the first mission attempt of the game. Discard the first card under that mission. Mission attempt continues.

Great Celery Mystery
Shortly after her first winter on Sphinx, Stephanie Harrington was faced with a unique situating. Entire celery plants were going missing, one or two at a time.
If Youth with Cunning >5 or any treecat in away team, score points. Otherwise one personnel stopped and one equipment discarded (stolen if opponents treecat scout present, random selection).

Hexapuma Territory
Sphinx has 2 large predators, the peak bear which generally lives in the mountains, and the hexapuma, which generally lives everywhere else. Hexapumas get the largest in the temporate zones.
Once per mission, your opponent may download here up to to compatible Animals. The initiate combat. To get passed requires a hand weapon, 2 Rangers or Strength >30.

Hand weapon utilizing a monomolecular cutting edge and intense vibration to enhance the cutting strength of the wielder.
