Thematic V 12: 'Marvelous DCs'

Hello and, on behalf of MattgomeryScott, welcome to the next episode of Season Five of Thematic.

For any new players (or those that need a reminder), I'm filling in temporarily for MattgomeryScott but nothing has changed. I will be posting up a new dream card theme or challenge roughly every two weeks, which will give everyone plenty of time to enter. All you need to do is come up with a card for that theme or challenge, and include your vote for a card from the previous Thematic (but you can’t vote for yourself). Also, unless otherwise stated, entrants may be First or Second Edition or Tribbles CCG.

And onto this time. Iron Man, Hulk, Batman, Superman, Captain America, Spiderman, X-Men, The Flash, Thor, Arrow, Fantastic Four, Ant-Man, Deadpool, Daredevil, Suicide Squad. In case you hadn't noticed, comic book superheroes have invaded our cinema screens and our TV screens. Marvel and DC are all over the place... And now they are invading Thematic!

Create a Star Trek CCG (1E or 2E) based around Superpowers. Either someone from Star Trek with superpowers (Q, Trelane, Pah-Wraiths and Prophets, Riker from Hide and Q) or a superhero from comic books, film or TV, but in Dream Card form. Maybe their power is an order, a special skill or a special download (2 cards allowed if so).

Whatever you do, make them Fantastic, Marvelous, Amazing, Super.

Unless you have 2 Anthropology and Cunning > 34, or 2 Diplomacy and Integrity > 36, all your personnel are stopped and, if there are no dilemmas on this mission, place this dilemma on this mission. When you begin a mission attempt at this mission, you must first stop two personnel present who have Anthropology, or two personnel personnel who have Integrity > 5. At the start of your turn, if there are no personnel or ships at this mission, this dilemma returns to it's owners dilemma pile.

Place on personnel present with highest INTEGRITY (opponent's choice if tie). Personnel is relocated to nearest planet at another location. Personnel's regular skills and attributes are all doubled. If personnel leaves planet before countdown expires, they are discarded when countdown expires, you lose points, and opponent scores points. Otherwise when countdown expires, you score points and opponent loses points (double points if personnel has Honor).

[Door] Q-Flash: Marvelous Fun

Place one atop Q-Continuum side deck during the seed phase. Q-Continuum is now open and in play. Your other Q-related side decks are closed and cannot be opened or reopened. Once each turn you may download (even from discard pile) and seed one Q-Flash under any mission. Q-Flash may be encountered more than once at a mission location (limit once per turn per location). Also the first [Q] event, [Q] dilemma or [Q] interrupt encountered each turn first stops one personal (random selection).

Opponent chooses one: Stops 2 highest Cunning Music personnel, OR discards the two personnel (one male and one female) with fewest [SD] icons, OR discard all hand weapons in crew. Nullify by sacrificing 2 Empathy OR Mortal Q (removed from game).
