Welcome to Fill in the Blank, the set-building dream card contest!

Each week I will post the collector’s information for one of the cards in the set’s cardlist. Contestants are free to create whatever card they see fit for that slot in the cardlist, keeping in mind the surrounding cards. As the contest progresses, the cardlist will become more and more defined, guiding the contests’ choices.

The theme of our set is The Villains of Star Trek. Not every card has to fit the theme, of course, but it’s something to keep in mind when voting. Speaking of voting, as per normal each contestant will vote for one of the previous week’s entries (with the exception that as the contest runner, I will vote ONLY in the case of a tie).

Our winner from last week: Peers!

Here are our entries for this week:

Order - Stop your Treachery personnel to return this event to its owner's hand.

Entry D wrote: [Evt] (4) •Unexpected Appearance
Event

When an opponent's personnel begin a mission attempt here, you may destroy this event to download a Treachery personnel that could be played at your headquarters mission, and place them on this mission. (You now command that personnel.)
"Admiral. I didn't expect to see you here."

Entry F wrote: [Evt] (2) •Writ of Accountability

Entry G wrote: [Evt] (1) •Victory is Life
When your Jem'Hadar is about to overcome a dilemma, you may exchange that dilemma with the top card of it's owner's dilemma pile. (The new dilemma is overcome.)
Obedience brings victory...
Entry H wrote: [Evt] (2) •Visage of the Emperor
Event
To play this event, you must command three [Kli] personnel. Plays in your core. While your [Kli] Treachery personnel is facing a dilemma, you must treat each ">" symbol in Integrity requirements as "<," and vice versa.
"Kahless the Unforgettable, the Klingon who set the pattern for his planet's tyrannies."

Please remember to vote for one of these entries in your post, referencing the entry’s letter.

This week’s card is...

Card #30!

Card #30 must come between William T. Riker, Desperate Survivor (Personnel - Federation - Card #29) and Arne Darvin, “Hero to the Empire” (Personnel - Non-aligned - Card #31). Could be a late Federation or extremely early non-aligned personnel, or any Ferengi or Klingon.

Here’s what we have so far:

Dilemmas:

1. Evil’s Plans
Danny wrote: [D] (0) Evils Plans

Your opponent discards a personnel that could be played at his or her headquarters mission from his or her hand. That personnel's cost is added to this dilemma's cost. Unless you have the skills on that personnel, all your personnel are stopped.

My Entry:

[Kli] 2 *Kruge, Klingon Without Conscience

[Cmd] [Pa] Klingon

Exobiology, Geology, Intelligence, Officer, Treachery

Commander: I.K.S. Qel'Poh.
Order: Kill an opponent's personnel in your brig to name a unique personnel. Each copy of that personnel he or she commands loses all skills, attributes and abilities. This effect lasts until the end of your next turn.

"You Klingon bastard! You've killed my son!"

Integrity: 1, Cunning: 6, Strength: 7

Notes: Kruge kills one of his captives, and one of your opponent's personnel is so devastated that he or she is almost useless for their next turn.

The subtitle comes from an interview with Christopher Lloyd, who played Kruge:
Describing the role, years later, Lloyd said, "To this day, I don’t know why they cast me, because I hadn’t done anything that I can recall that bore any resemblance to the character of Captain Kruge. They just played a hunch, I guess. And I loved doing that. I mean, he epitomizes somebody with absolutely no moral conscience. He even blows up his so-called girlfriend in another spaceship. They have a short conversation at the beginning, and he doesn’t even apologize. She’s amenable because… well, it’s for whatever political reasons. But, yeah, he’s just evil[...] He’s demonic. There’s no conscience in place at any point, and he has no apologies for any of his actions. He just goes out and destroys and kills and creates havoc until he gets what he wants. And that was fun to play. I loved all the makeup and the clothes, the whole Klingon look. It was a joy. And Leonard Nimoy directed!"
All the Best,

Mattgomery Scott.

Assassin because he planned to kill the entire Voyager crew, Infiltrator for obvious reasons, Shapeshifter because he could modulate his voice (and probably more, as the Doctor did in another episode), and a Thief because he was sent to steal Voyager (or at least Seven). It's only a pity there aren't any Capture cards the Ferengi can use alone...
