I made one of myself back then I was a U.S. History teacher in South Korea, which lent itself both to giving myself Archaeology (the closest we have to a history skill) and a [DL] for any American related card. As far as I could ever tell, this meant either The Charybdis or Lakanta at the time.

Not having quite that same occupation anymore, I'd have to redesign my card a bit. But I did note that my original card was a slightly weaker Jack Crusher, which was odd.

Ah... I made various versions of myself over the years. I thought we all did! 8)

I'm embarrassed to put the first few up, because they were a bit... optimistic. However, I think I already posted my current one somewhere. I'll post some of them here, later. Great topic! Show us more, people!

If that's your final verdict, I hardly agree. I'm afraid that "history" as IRL field of study, might be dead centre in-between [SD] Archaeology and [SD] Anthropology. Depending on your level of education, you might be forced to give yourself both!
(Nah, I do agree... if you feel you should have only one, it might indeed be Archaeology; since you no doubt also considered all 43 other skills carefully.)

In the same vein, "chemistry" IRL could be closer to either [SD] Physics (inorganics) or [SD] Biology (organics), depending on sub-field.

Now, psychology...!? MEDICAL, Anthropology... mostly the latter, but anyway, the skills is where STCCG dead-ends as an accurate model for real-life people.

Just food for thought.

I like that concept!

Which embodiment of her? I've not read the comics, but really like the films -- each in their own way. (But Urban's, bu far, the most, of course. And especially that Anderson was a great character, as well. Ooh wait, now I remember your Dredded Ink! :D  )

Since nothing previous in lore or card points to the prior dreaming, I'd leave off "still". But I like the bureaucracy & HQ angle. Can you fit into lore why you know your way around it?

So I searched and found my nearly 7 year old dream card thread full of dumb ideas, and here's the complete version of me from that thread:

Great that you found it! So you like singing, too? What genres?

What strikes me, is that y'all are trained in serious hand-to-hand combat. I see Strength only partially -- but, for card analysis purposes, mainly -- as empty-handed battle prowess.
Yes, I did a tiny bit of martial arts, but I don't think I'd best, say, Deanna in a death match. Sad as it may seem on paper (3 sounds really low), but as a civilian who has no experience with martial training, I think I might only ever stands a chance against these people.
Because, although Strength 4 seems to encompass many quite fragile people whom I might also certainly best if my life depended on it (there's a whole string of people like Ishka which I feel I'd have no problem with  ), it also contains the likes of Troi, and some Bajoran and Fed military personnel who might be considered the weakest assets when a bunch of intruders beam over to their ship; but they are still military-trained to defend themselves, and thus I forced myself to err on the side of caution, and say I can't measure up to that level of (structural / periodic) practice and experience with hand-to-hand fighting techniques.

What do you think of that analysis?

Do y'all feel better equipped -- and trained -- to fight Shelby, Lt. Uhura or Taitt? Or Bok, nasty Ferengi enraged? OK, some really dubious fighters have 5, but would you really measure up to Jenna, Julian, Laren, and their level? (Some of whom we've seen -- perhaps even Neelix -- to pack quite a punch and/or are even Security personnel!)
Or is this No Time For Caution, and might I thus have misjudged my own STCCG Strength?
Honest questions!
(Perhaps I take my dream cards too seriously... )

I made black belt, though that's been literally decades ago at this point. I'm also not a small guy, though it ain't all muscle. Based on the personnel you linked, I think a 5 does fit me.

That's a great mechanic, and I like the manner in which it connects with (is explained in) your lore.
However, might it better read as "(if with an opponent's Greed)"? As stated above, I'm quite detailed about making cards, and I like to learn. Which option is more often used, and/or preferable/elegant?

We can't post realistic card graphics here, of course. But, it'd be so much easier to just slap a "SPECIMEN" watermark over the cards, as opposed to opening the original layer files and copying all the various texts...

And the best cards have personally reflective art -- ideally also linked to the lore...

How about a picture with only the text, original "art", and some icons? The placing of text can't be proprietary... :cross: 8)

I'll risk it. I'll take it down if any offical-sounding hot shot here tells me it's dangerous. (You'll have to prove you're a Leader -- so show some OFFICER or Leadership. )

Here it is (hidden for size):

However... as you can see, my latest persona version -- dating from 2014 -- is neither CIV nor [NA] . So... I'll take on the OP's challenge and make a new, "2019" version.

If anybody wonders about my special skill...
I might have some talents. But I like to joke that I'd not be a particularly good Trek card. I can always help out... I'd like to... But I'd err on the side of "not being very effective in dire situations". :P So, I took a realistic trait of mine, and baked it into this skill. 8)
