A handful of cards all relating to revising and updating the cards from the episode "Tinman", with the intent of making an Empathy-centered deck idea viable.

[Obj] Codename "Tin Man"
Seeds on Beta Stromgren; download and seed Gomtuu there (uncontrolled). No player may initiate battle against Gomtuu while mission is unsolved. Any player that solves this mission may beam aboard and commandeer Gomtuu with Empathy X2. Any player that destroys Gomtuu in battle may place this objective in their point area. [10 Points]

[Neu] Gomtuu
Class: Living Ship
Ancient carbon-based alien vessel that outlived its crew and contemplated suicide by supernova. Recently contacted and commanded by Tam Elbrun.
Staffing: Empathy X2 Special Equipment: Attributes all +1 for each unique Empathy aboard. Archeology. [DL] Crew Symbiosis
Range: 7 Weapons: 8 Shields: 7

So the basic deck design starts here; instead of being a [NA] ship that reports for duty at your outpost like any bird-of-prey or Galaxy-class might, Gomtuu begins the game drifting uncontrolled in space, much like Empok Nor. Depending on how you want to use these cards, solving "Investigate Sighting" with (presumably Federation) allows you to claim Gomtuu as your own for the rest of the game (and Gomtuu, in turn, downloading Crew Symbiosis to package it's unique "Living Ship" rules that set it apart from normal non-living ships), or your (presumably Romulan) deck can have their sour grapes and destroy Gomtuu for some bonus points. Commandeering the ship also puts a 10 point bounty on Gomtuu's head for your opponent, so you'd better be prepared to defend yourself.

[Inc] Crew Symbiosis
Plays on your Living Ship. This ship's crew and away teams are attributes all +1 for each of their Empathy. Once per turn, may prevent the death of one crew member aboard. If you have Exobiology X2 aboard, this ship may repair at any location. You may download Gomtuu Shock Wave as an interrupt here in response to battle initiated against Gomtuu (excluding this ship from its effects).

[NA] [Fed] Tam Elbrun
V.I.P.
Betazoid telepathic prodigy and former patient of Deanna Troi. Delivered to the U.S.S. Enterprise in 2366. In mental contact with Gomtuu even light-years away.
[SD] Empathy X2
Integrity: 5 Cunning: 7 Strength: 3

Of course, Gomtuu is incomplete without a crew. Tam Elbrun actually loses skills compared to his earlier version, but this renders him as "mission specialist" (a description he's even called by name in the episode) so he's seedable with Assign Mission Specialists and you can start searching for Gomtuu as soon as the game begins. Tam is also optionally NA, since he was never that strictly loyal to the Federation anyway, so this game engine could theoretically be adopted into any other non-borg faction (though few have as many Empathy characters as the Federation). "Crew Symbiosis" has several functions, not the least of which is the deterrent of being able to set off the "Gomtuu Shockwave" dilemma as a defensive reaction to opponent's attacking you for those 10 bonus points. Additionally, Gomtuu boosts the stats of his Empathic crew just as they boost Gomtuu's. Gomtuu and his crew also help each other heal; Gomtuu having a "John Doe"-like ability to keep his crew from dying, and crew who understand the bizarre biology of Gomtuu's systems can enact repairs on their host even in the depths of space.

Finally, cart art mockups can be seen at this link: https://imgur.com/a/PRShR4R

I hope you like these, let me know what you think, and if anyone in the Design Team of the Continuing Committee is reading, I hope you think these ideas would make for the start of a fun boutique set!

While these are gorgeous, Dream Card policy as of right now is that graphical cards are only allowed if they are alternate images with no gameplay elements changed.

Wholly new Dream Cards like this are only allowed in text.

Can I ask you to edit your post to convert the new cards to text?

Oh, um sure, if you give me fifteen minutes to type all that out.

What a weird policy. Is being in the Dream Card forum not enough to clue people in that these are not official?

But sure, I'll take them down. Sorry.

Don't feel bad. It's about compliance with the standing "copyright policy" between the CC and the copyright holders (I don't speak legalese). It's been like this for a long time and it's fairly well-known, overall (i.e., it's in the code of conduct and also mentioned in topics every one in a while).
But if things are rectified -- like you have -- there's no problem.

All that said, it's being critically looked at also, so it might change (for the better/easier) in the future.

In any case...
Your cards sound great! I love the episode, and also what you did with it, game-wise. :)
