Here's the premise: the CC is going to make a small size, boutique-style expansion designed to help one affiliation. All of the cards will be designed to boost that affiliation with the intention of making them have at least one high level competitive deck.

Under this premise, which affiliation / faction / sub-affiliation would you like to see get this, and why? Please limit your answers to a single affiliation / faction / sub-affiliation.

[Maq] [Maq] [Maq]

EDIT: oh, and why! Because all three Maquis builds are near the very bottom of the heap, which is a great disappointment, because the Maquis have several really interesting things going on, from the regional harassment to the reporting mechanic to their extremely weird but nifty Learning Curve.

There's three closely related builds here, so a focused design team can get a ton of bang for their buck without the expansion feeling narrow and railroaded.

Hon mentions: alpha quadrant solo Bajorans + ds9 ferengi.

Alternatively, [Rom] - for the same reason.
I don't think either of them need a lot of help like the others mentioned... only because they are both 1 of 9 affiliations with a winning percentage over 15% in Level 2 or higher tournaments. Plus, both are going to get some cards in both the next two TOS block expansions and the movie block sets.

tng borgs.

it has the potential to be really different and new and exciting. objectives and goals weve never seen before. new mechanics for a brand new flavor, not just a new way to play cards for free which is what every other deck type seems to be for the past five years.

borgs were really important to tng even if they were only in a few epsidoes but weve seen almost nothing from them in the game. its all first contact and later. its a real shame they dont have representation in the star trek ccg universe. even ferengi militaries have more going for them and how big or important were they to the show?

and the last time the borgs got something really bold and new was almost 7 years ago now.
