Welcome to today's First Edition Friday Question, where you get a chance to answer questions that will help shape the future of First Edition. If you'd like to catch up on previous entries, here's a list of all of my previous Friday Questions:
Hello and welcome to another Friday Question, where you guys get to help shape the future of the game. I hope you all had time to check out the announcement about International 1E Demo Day, which is coming up on Sunday, June 7th. We're looking for more volunteers to help out during the day, so please contact me if you're interested and available.
Today, I want to ask you about affiliations at the bottom of the pile. We're trying to figure out where to give extra help, and while we have our own internal list, it's always nice to find out what the players think.
What is the worst affiliation in the game?
Traditionally, an affiliation in the game is defined by the color of the card's border. However, especially in the modern era where plays differently from which plays differently from , it's not that simple. So I'll leave the definition of affiliation up to you: if you think the sucks, period, that's a valid answer. If you think all of the Klingons are great except , that's also valid.
What's most important to me is to find out what you think is bad, and why. And the reasons why you think something is bad are as plentiful as stars in the sky. Maybe it's just because they aren't fun, even if they are good. Maybe it's because they aren't good, at all. Maybe they have no flavor, or just don't have enough cards. Your reasons are all good, and valid, and I want to hear them.
Please continue to stay healthy and safe, especially as many places in the world start to re-open. And I do hope you'll consider volunteering for International 1E Demo Day, if you have the time. Have a great weekend!
