I thought about that as well but honestly I hope not.
I think that would do a disservice to the whole background story of mutants.
And I also don't believe they would do it this way at this point. But I think this show will introduce us to the Multiverse that will ultimately bring mutants into the MCU.

Regulating Wanda to a Mutant Maker is probably a look Disney wants to avoid.

Plus, the X-Men have a long and storied history. Do you really want another Wolverine: origins?

But but but, Darcy was caught in the field when if expanded past her. Is her DNA altered too? To a lesser extent than Monica but still modified.

And for that matter, what about the S.W.O.R.D. agent who were in the field when it expanded past them? Their DNA was altered, too, right? Again not to the same effect as Monica but altered nonetheless. And it is not an insignificant number of agent, right?
Pretty sure it's because one of the times Monica went through (the ejector seat version), Wanda's magic was wrapped around her and became incorporated into her cells.

Mephisto
in this?
Anything is possible but it is getting really really late for marvel to drop such a huge reveal like that on us. Even with Doctor Strange the big bad appeared at the end but was referred to several times throughout. If they were going that route we would have had some more obvious clues/references. That's not the kind of thing Marvel likes to hides that well. Look at Agatha Harkness; the clues were all there and they flat out told us in episode seven of nine.

Maaaaybe a Thanos style appearance in an after credits scene.

I've been itching to see
White Vision
eversince they introduced the original character in Age of Ultron. An no, it's not
Nimrod
at least I hope not.
This
rebuilt white version of Vision
is the one I grew up with when I started reading the Avengers in '89/'90.
I remember them always making a point about him
not being the same as he was before
but it was never out of the question that he was part of the team which is why I also don't think that he's
gonna be "evil Vision"
as some are speculating.
I think he's just
the new Vision
we have to get used to moving forward.
The biggest question I'm currently having is:
Who is the Bunny
?

The theory I read
was that they just changed her normal companion from a cat to a bunny...
