Project Gannicus ********* ** ******
What is it: A large set focused on battle and also bringing back some concepts from the Idea File.
What's going on: The set is past the halfway mark for testing. Creative and Rules have had the set for a couple of weeks and are working on it. The promo is sent into production and all the set is moving at pace.
Anticipated Release: Fall 2019

Project Anniversary
What is it: A set celebrating the twenty-fifth anniversary of the game. Some of the most beloved cards from the earlier days of the game are ‘punched up’ for Second Edition. Questions like “What is a Mission Specialist in Second Edition?” abound. If there’s a card you loved in the mid ninties, chances are it’s in the set.
What's going on: A design Team has been hard at work putting together version A which will go to testers soon.
Anticipated release: Fall/Winter 2019

Project Lassie
What is it: Set 50! Expect fifty-point missions along with cards that enhance that kind of deck. This is a boutique product with either nine or eighteen cards.
What’s going on: A team has been formed and they are in the early stages of design.
Anticipated release: Winter 2019/2020

Project Donar B
What is it: A boutique product for Christmas.
What’s going on: The set has been very well tested, though not sent to Creative and Rules. Also, it needs to be cut down to twelve cards. We anticipate bringing it back to the forefront in the summer of 2020. As you see above, the rest of the year has kind of fallen into place.
Anticipated Release: December 25, 2020

Project War Games
What is it: A new look at Starter Decks incorporating products released since their last update along with the new printable proxy policy. Some are in need of minor changes while others are looking at an almost total reworking. Since some players use them as unoptimized sealed products, the project has split into two branches.
What's going on: A team is formed and they have thirty decks to work their way through.
Anticipated release: ?

Questions like “What is a Mission Specialist in Second Edition?” abound. If there’s a card you loved in the mid-nineties, chances are it’s in the set.
What's going on: The set is formally in production. Art is scouring for images and the cards are getting a proof.
Anticipated Release: Fall/Winter 2019

Project Lassie
What is it: Set 50! Expect fifty-point missions along with cards that enhance that kind of deck. Roughly every affiliation has a viable card in this set. This is a boutique product with either nine or eighteen cards.
What’s going on: A team is working on the set and testing is going well. Rules and Creative will get their first look at the set soon.
Anticipated Release: Winter 2019/2020

Interaction 2020
What is it: A series of three sets based around the theme of interaction. While battle is a form of interaction, a lot of the cards will be much quicker to resolve.
What’s going on: The affiliations in the game have been broken up and the teams are assembled. This is still in the early stages. One of their first assignments after things get settled will be to write a paragraph about their set.
Anticipated Release: 2020

Here is a rundown of sets that are expected to be released in the remainder of 2021.

Project Connor
What is it: A fifty-four card set that is a sister project to Apocalypse Rising. That set dealt directly with the Cardassians being absorbed into the Dominion. As a whole, it looked at things from the Deep Space Nine perspective. Connor looks at what was happening in the rest of the Alpha Quadrant with a focus on The Next Generation side of things. This project is brought to you by the same team that made Apocalypse Rising.
What is the progress: The set is more than halfway through testing. Creative and Rules are working hard on their aspects of the set.
Anticipated release: Spring.

Project Diana
What is it: Last in a series of sets around the theme of interaction. The focus of this set is Star Trek: Voyager. While there will be Voyager-icon focused content in this set, there will also be material for the Maquis and Borg. While it is too early to say precisely how many cards will be in the final product, this will be a full-sized set.
What is the progress: A design team has been formed and their task is to get the set ready for testing as Connor moves out.
Anticipated release: Late Summer/Early Fall

Project Community
What is it: Cards based off submissions from the public. Some of them are one-off concepts while other are full-fledged mechanics across a good chunk of cards. Even though the public designed these cards, they will de developed, tested, reviewed by rules, and proofread just like any other card produced by The Continuing Committee. The set will include Androids and Borg Missions
What is the progress: A design team is formed and they are reviewing submissions.
Anticipated release: Q3/Q4 2021

Project Civilian
What is it: Project Civilian is exactly what it says on the tin! This expansion takes a step back from the fleets and command structures to focus on the everyday citizens of the Star Trek universe. You'll find artists, scientists, partygoers, chefs, and criminals in this holiday expansion.
What is the progress: A design team has been created and has begun designing.
Anticipated release: Q4 2021
