1. I was kinda aware of the rule. After you Stop First Contact, I was aware anything of Fed/Human origin went away. It killed off alot of my Holos once.

2. I mean...how much would it really change to just keep it as is and make everyone aware of it? Doesn't seem like a game-breaker to change it.

Since I'm new to this ship origin business, I'd like to know more. Specifically a question came up in a recent game:

Can a ship's origin be used against it?

More specifically, can I use the Cha'Joh with Quantum Singularity Lifeforms if I download it in mode?

I say yes because QSM says Romulan and it is clearly that affiliation.

My opponent says no because of its Klingon origin (never mind it doesn't say it's Klingon in lore, which was my counter; pretend it does for this question).

Who is right?

You don't need to even reference the ship origin rule for this one.

"Romulan" = Romulan or just like "Klingon" = Klingon or and "Vulcan" = Vulcan or , etc.

If the Cha'Joh is in mode it triggers QSL, period, full stop.
