Bring your small human. I'm sure my small humans would make her very welcome.

We do need more play in New England. This is facts.

I'm surprised there isn't an NYC regional this year? The Lockyard group seemed to be doing quite well for a while there. Did something happen there?

That is super tempting, but back when I had some say in my work shifts I opted for Thurs/Fri/Sat nights because Amanda's out all week on a school trip and those would be the more convenient nights for my parents to watch my small human. (Though, at 10, she's not that small anymore!)

I think this is a busy time of year for @robin1234, but I basically check the tournament listings every day anyways. I also keep hoping to see something from @JasonRed3 since his Romulus Rumble was a blast. (Unfortunately, the couple of extra hours that it takes to get to NJ means that it's a harder trip to make there and back in one day.) Honestly, if there were a Sector 001 tournament from @GooeyChewie or @abargar7510 or @DarkSabre on the right weekend, I'd try to get down there! I miss playing these dumb games.

Anyways, @Hoss-Drone, sorry to derail the thread, I'm sure your event will be a lot of fun and I wish I could make it!

I'd be willing to run a tournament locally as long as we can get enough players. The last time I tried to do it we had to cancel as some life events came up and we didn't have the critical mass to keep going. I have a venue, though, that we can use pretty much whenever we'd like.

Also, I recently started working for a company that's HQ is in Boston, so keep me up to date on those tournaments as I now have an opportunity to get up there semi-regularly!

We are underway.

6 players after 1 dropped bc called into work and 1 had a family emergency. So I'm still not playing lol.

Deck breakdown:

1 Borg
1 mirror Starfleet
1 dominion
1 romulan
1 voyager
1 Bajorans

I would have played a new brew Borg if I was playing.

Now in Rd 3.

Kris is playing TNG Borg updated to account for new reality of bans. He is 2 fw.
Jason is playing dominion infiltrators.

Mark is playing voyager revised holograms 2 mission win.
Our rules master is playing his pet deck - romulan distant control drones.

Hobie is playing Bajoran "the circle" point reduction for you, GOLD for himself.
Aaron is playing mirror Starfleet no frills.

That's the current pairings AND standings. Can Kris win and hold the title or will Jason upset him and open the door for himself, mark or even James to swoop the steal?

2e draft went well, we had 8 players for it. Kris doubles up his win total for the day.

After BBQ we did tribbles. At the championship table Mark playing battle/rescue went pregnant after the first hand but I was able to string some 100k hits and going out twice for good stacks to steal the win.

Thanks to everyone who came, I think we all had a great time.

Thanks to Kev for running a pair of great events. I had a terrific time, and that had nothing to do with winning. This is such a great annual friend reunion that I hope we can keep running for years to come. :cheersL:
