My new deck is boxed and ready to go... but I have forgotten how to play it. Afraid if I take it out I will mess it up. Probably best to leave it in the box and be surprised along with everyone else.

We are taking The Foundling (our Foreign Exchange Student) up the north shore this weekend to see some fall color so I am out. That said I LOVE that James took the initiative to schedule and that it looks like sanctioning should not be a problem. I look forward to the stories of fun games played over milk shakes!

I didn't clear it with the venue last time, and I'm not sure it's possible to reserve space.

I actually got scheduled to work the 24th so my participation is unlikely.

The good news is that I got out of working tomorrow. The bad news is that I have COVID.

I'm on the upswing, and technically, the CDC says tomorrow is the first day I can go out in public as long as I'm masked the whole time, but I'm not going to push it. Have fun!
