Greetings, 'trek fans!

Minnesota will be hosting a triple header Regional Championships day on July 5th at Dreamer's Vault in Roseville. If you haven't been, this is the new-ish venue to the scene that has a fantastic food policy and lets us play there for free. Did I also mention their play coordinator is named Jean-Luc? Just like last year, I will be running the Regionals in "brain slowly turns to mush" order, with First Edition batting lead off at 10:30 a.m. followed by Second Edition at 2:30 p.m., and finally with Tribbles at 6:30 p.m. or thereabouts.

Theoretically, and this will be a day of decision (if at all), we could run Tribbles after First Edition so the 1E folks who are not interested in Second Edition could participate. All three of us 2E players are Tribbles players, and if say James or Charles want to dabble in Tribbles before they head home I would think we would welcome additional participants.

Tribbles after 1E would be better for me. I don't think I can arrive at Dreamer's Vault until 4:30 pm at the earliest. I'd likely miss Tribbles but I could play in 2E.

Well, I don't think I'd be able to stay for the entire thing, and I also have no idea what I would need to bring. It's not like I have a Tribbles deck built. But if it would help, I wouldn't necessarily mind.

I will obviously be there from the start of the day, and assume Jer will drop in towards the end of the 1E gig, but if we do not have enough players for 2E or for Tribbles after the 1E gig I cannot expect Jer nor I to hang around until 4:30.

I think flipping Tribbles and 2E makes sense. Folks that are there for 1E can participate without staying all day or having to come back. We've got lots of Tribbles decks to loan out, so no one needs to feel obligated to have to build one unless you want to.

If we gotta wait a bit before 2E gets going, we'll grab a snack/drink, play our game early, or fill the time with other shenanigans.

Good news. I can arrive at about 2:30 so I can play both tribbles and 2E. Whichever order you want to do it.

Well, losing to the guy who won it all doesn't feel bad - I enjoyed my time, even if I was in full "See card playable play card" in Tribbles.

Oh, and my prizing included a sealed pack of Voyager. I opened it when I got home because I miss opening sealed packs...and got The Pendari Champion.

Wow, sweet Charles! Thank you all for coming out to play yesterday and congrats to the winners. I will huddle up with the other TDs and see what / where we want to host next.
