Hi guys,

Peter (Peukon) has arranged a tournament in Aarhus, Denmark, on sunday Oct. 10. Prominent guests include Kieren Otton (Australia), Shane Brierley (Australia) and Will Hoskin.

So everybody who is able to go to Aarhus with to days notice: Join us!

Anyway, I propose "House rules" for this tournament:
Damaged Archer is banned.
Legacy is banned.
Rituals are banned.
The new Weyoun is not banned, but if you play him in a deck with Virtual Reality Headset John Corbett will fly in and rip your head off.
Good?

These rules are just fine with me :D

To anyone who disagrees (and weren't at Worlds), John would say the following to you:

"You weren't at Worlds, so shut the fuck up!"

Yeah, I figured that sf is neutered enough by banning Archer. Could be wrong, though.

Anyway, I don't think that anyone really wants to play sf right now. :D

Btw, here's the link to the touney:

Katie is actually going out of town for the week and I happen to have a three-day weekend (Sat-Mon). If there is an acceptably inexpensive way to get to Aarhus from Kaiserslautern I might just do it... Ideas?
Oh, man. That would be SUPER awesome. Not sure about the best way to get there. I'll see what I can figure out and get back to you.

Guys,

This was a total blast! I'm really sorry that I had to leave before the tournament was over, but that can't change the fact that the weekend was super awesome.

Will, Kieren, Shane and Peter you guys rule!

/Soren

Btw Shane, I wanted you to have the signed Sisko, but forgot when I had to leave. If you pm me your home address I'll mail it to you. You can give me something for it the next time you're in Denmark. :cheersR:

Thank you Master, you are most gracious Master!

To Locke, Bruno, Mortens, Pete and Soren, thanks very much for organising this event, it was great fun and it is a fine group of players.

Thanks everyone for a great tournament.

It was a pleasure to have such nice people over for a tournament, and it was a lot of fun to run.

Also a big thanks for helping out the new guys with ideas for their decks.

I'll have the results up in the next few days...

couldn't agree more, one of the best "local" tournaments i've been to outside of London. Aarhus was great and the Danes are great hosts I would recommend it to anyone.

I was scrolling through old posts looking for something (I have forgotten what subsequently) when I found this post that probably sums up my favourite time of playing TREK, when The Danes, 2 Aussies and a Gumbo met up in Aarhus for an amazing weekend of laughing and friendship. This was a week of so after the 53 player Worlds in 2010

Seems like a different game ago now. Of all the things the CC has done over the last 10 years, I'd say that Worlds event would stand as the highlight

Great times
