This thread will be used to keep you up to date with information on the 2008 European Biermeisterschaft, 26th of July, 8 pm at the Asman near Steigenberger in Potsdam, Germany.

I really can't talk for the proprietor of the bar, who might be as generous as last year's barkeep, but there are no drinkable substances in this year's prize support (I will have to come with a special suitcase to get it all to the tourney), which will definitely make up for last year's adhoc ideas ("Great, a broken beer glass. That's a fine trophy for Tony. But, wait! Let's all spoil it with this suboptimal working marker...")

Also, the more you drink, the more prize support you will get. So the one participant who ran out of drinking money should start saving, if he hasn't already.
