Guys - I don't want to shit talk as much as I normally do in announcing this month's events. I just want to have some meaningful games, with some meaningful friends to celebrate Chris Mead's friendship and time with us all. Let's have fun and play in his honor.

Sadly, I wont be able to join this one. I´m in France from 24/08 till 06/09, so I couldnt play in 2 rounds.

We have 6 for the 1e event and 11 for the 2e event. I hope this event turns into the biggest the Dojo have ever had! Let's do it for Chris.

Annnnnnnnd hello everyone! Welcome to the ninth consecutive Invitational event. This month's event is special because we are celebrating Chris Mead's participation in this community. Chris was a great guy who made playing this game enjoyable for lots of people so let's all do the best we can and more importantly, have fun!

On a serious side note, there has been an increase in missed games amongst players in my events. I wish to stop this now because I seriously believe that it is not only unfair to the other player, but it kills the fun for everyone. Therefore, if you miss a game in either event running concurrently, you will be dropped from that event. I understand that one player will be more at fault than the other, so the player making the most effort to schedule and attend their game will receive a Bye. That said, please save your PM's requesting times, schedules, etc. to show me as proof incase a situation arises.

I plan on opening this policy up for discussion after this tournament ends.

Man everyone. The First Edition side of the series has really taken off. It's just two players away from the Second Edition side. Crazy! Hopefully one day, it'll surpass it.
