I saw the pre-release of the set, I am really blown away. So many game changing cards! I really want to play them. For this I will host a online tournament with prize support from current foils and buttons (presupposed they arrive on time), some boosters (depending on numbers of participants) and as main prize a pre-release card from Worlds in London.

Unfortunately, we do not know an exact release date. So I scheduled the event on 7th October so that we also have the chance of an errata. If the release date is a lot earlier I might change that date.

Rules
Pairings will be announced in the discussion thread on every second Sunday. A round will run two weeks (because I am a busy man) to get together, play and report the result. Results should be reported in the discussion thread or via PM to me.

LackeyCCG and Skype are required to play.
Rules/Banned cards in effect at the start of the tournament remain in effect throughout.
You may NOT change your deck between rounds.
2.5 hours/150 min time limit per game.

I start with three rounds but may adapt due to number of participants.

And because I want to have the achievement "Papers, Please" everyone needs to post a deck and reports

There's a card, which hasn't been spoiled yet, that I know Stephan wants to try out in this set, and not for its intended purpose

The release date of this upcoming expansion is set for 30th September 2016 and will be tournament legal one week later.
(Though, I could not find any info on that, but earlier expansion always followed this scheme.)

I am pretty sure there will also be an errata on first Monday 3rd Oktober 2016 which will be also effective for the tournament.

And since I cannot remember the card Naill is referring to, I need some clues But I think I will save my favourite card of the set for Nationals.

Nava is pretty good at getting them upload as soon as the data is available to Nava.

When I created this tournament I thought about this option but decided against it, since in the end it is just a 18 card set with cards focusing on deck changing elements. Also I think it would be interesting to see if these new cards are really above the power curve against an old deck. Though, I am pretty sure everyone will play the new cards in this tournament

When Lackey is not ready until 7th October we will postpone the start of the tournament one week.

Unfortunately, we do not have yet the necessary errata for Ressikan Flute. Since I am pretty sure that we will at least see one The Inner Light deck, I am going to postpone the start of this tournament to Sunday, 10th October 2016.

PPS: I cannot update the tournament anymore. So I will keep you posted in this thread and update the first post with round pairings when time has come.
