That's right! Star Trek CCG is returning to Columbus Ohio for a one day special engagement!

Mark your calendars for Saturday, December 30th, 2023!

We're getting together at The Guardtower, Team Ohio's old Trek haunt and partying like it's 1999... or 2009... or 2013, which was the last time we did one of these, which is way too long!

I'll have extra new/returning player-friendly decks available for use so you don't even need to build a deck! Just show up and have some fun!

I'm looking forward to seeing whoever is able to make it and playing some in-person Trek! :cheersL:

Just wanted to give a big shout out to @Mugato, @Devoras, @Faithful Reader, and @Gedca for showing up for 5 quality rounds of round robin 2e games... with all of that travel we had to make sure everyone got their money's worth! I really appreciate everyone making the time and effort to build decks and travel to all get together!

So despite a total Faceplant against Jared (seriously... 100-0... absolute trainwreck...), I got a little help from my friends Tony and Blake who both beat Jared and allowed me to maintain my proud holiday tradition of falling ass-backwards into a tournament win that I had no business winning. Thanks, guys!

I also learned that The Guardtower, which has been around since the 80s, is relocating to what is, by all objective measures, a better space in a couple of months. While I'm happy for them, I started going to the current building as far back as High School (I think? Freshman year of college at the latest), and there's part of me that's really sad to see it go... so this feels like a real end of an era moment for me.

Thanks for the memories, and thanks again to all of the nerds who came out for one last hurrah. While it may not have matched the 21 players we got at the 2005 Ohio Regional in this same building that we sat around Glory Days reminiscing about, it was still a blast, and I'm glad to see that a few old nerds still got it! :cheersL:
