Here's the schedule of events:
Friday July 26th:
8AM: Executive course Golf challenge . There is a golf course near me that is 18 very short golf holes designed for young/new players to learn to play. This event will be designed to encourage regular golfers and non-golfers alike to participate - the regular golfers will get paired with non-golfers to play as a team. This event will require that you pre- register (or comment below) for this so that i plan out teams and so we can coordinate to carpool out to the location. (Cost will be separate from the regular events - but trust me, its minimal. Wear comfortable shoes for walking.)

NEVER BEEN TO SIOUX FALLS BEFORE? HERE'S MY RECOMMENDATIONS:
Hotels:
Recommended option 1: If you are flying in the SF the airport hotel is a great choice. Rent a car and stay at the hotel next door, then you literally just travel straight down Minnesota Ave from the airport to the venue. No turns necessary.
Recommended option 2: Stay at a hotel downtown. Downtown is halfway between the airport and the venue and Minnesota avenue runs adjacent to it. I personally recommend the Holiday Inn or the Hilton Garden Inn. All of downtown is walkable. Do the sculpture tour as you go around!
Recommended option 3: Stay at the Glo hotel in Dawley farms on the east side of sioux falls. You can walk to my house (or i'll pick you up
) and we can travel to everything together. I know @Commander Joe would recommend this and might do it again.
Food:
Sioux Falls is the number 1 restaurants per capita city in the upper midwest. Like literally. There are dozens of options downtown, and dozens more up and down Minnesota ave. If you are willing to travel a little farther away there are dozens more on 41st street on your way to the mall. If you want a personal recommendation - both me and Guy Feiri would recommend:
Urban Chislic (for the authentic signiture taste of the midwest)
Look's Market - next to the Prairie Green Golf course
Kevin's personal list of if you can only pick one place:
- Roots of Brasil
- The Attic
- Carnaval
- Smoked Culture BBQ
