You have 12 days to build a deck and to play. Resistance is Futile. :borg:

How about it, @sexecutioner, @Armus , @Professor Scott , @Commander Joe , @BCSWowbagger , @ORION , @doctorjoya , @TyKajada , @Clerasil ToB , @Winner of Borg , @Kaiser , and anyone else I am too lazy to tag here?

What is this? Is there a description or a link?

(While I'm being slightly snarky, I do think that a lot of us - myself included - assume that everyone on the boards know a lot more then we might. For instance I could gather that it's an online tournament because of the forum, and found the link to register in the Tournaments area, but there's nothing so sya what makes the Master's series different from any other tournament, and nothing on the link about if this is a standard 1 a week (I assume so) or an all day event, etc.

It's a Masters-level event so it's a level above a Regional and has different prize support but beyond that, there's no special requirements for the tournament or anything like that, just normal Modern rules for the tournament. It is a standard 1-game-a-week.

I dunno about that prize support situation... I'm still waiting on my prize support from last year's Online Masters, and I'm guessing I'm not the only one...

I was hand delivered Masters prize support from Maggie in South Dakota at Continentals, so there will be Masters prizes for these 2 events. And yes, standard 1 game per week, with pairings announced in this thread.

All good man, that wasn't meant as a shot at you.

Did you not get play mats? I thought those were supposed to be a big prize feature of the Masters events...

I was not sent any... If they are supposed to go out, I can try to work with the warehouse to direct ship

I want to join in, but I'm now working 7 days on / off now.

Which means rounds 1 and 3 times are literally 7pm GMT start, and I won't be able to do any other times :?

Hello, I was thinking about taking part in this tournament, but I still have some questions about playing online. what is the procedure? how many rounds are played on this day? what do I have to consider about the time because I live in Germany? do I have to set anything in Lackey?

Hi! This tournament will be five rounds, with pairings announced in this thread on Mondays starting on 9/23. Players will then have one week to play (Monday through Sunday) to connect with their opponent, play the game over Lackey and using Skype / Discord / other voice communication, and report the game result either in this thread or via PM (e.g. Jared vs. Kris FW for Jared 100-45.)

Players from all across the globe are invited to participate in online events. Typically, when it is a German player vs. a US player the game(s) are played on the weekend in the morning in the US / the afternoon in Europe. Please let me know if you have further questions. :cheersL:

I can work with this, if you are ok with it. Pair you up Rd 1, 3, & 5 (or Rd 2 & 4 depending on which week we catch you) and give you a missed game for the other matches. I will even pair you with me first, so you can immediately start on a losing streak and forget all about possibly winning this thing. :shifty: LOL

We are up to 15 players so far. Can we draw 20? Get in here and help make it happen!
