I'm pleased to announce that Florida will be hosting a First Edition Regionals tournament. The format will be Block Sealed: each player gets a random virtual starter from The Next Generation plus 3 TNG boosters.
Tournament is tentatively set for three rounds, but will be increased to four if eight or more players attend.
Please pre-register no later than Friday, May 25th, so that I can prepare enough virtual cards for all players (as necessary), and get a head count of how many to expect.
Playing materials including cards will be provided, but please bring your own sleeves.
All players will be required to fill out deck lists at the tournament, as every Regionals deck is required to be entered into the tournament system.
Prizes: yes we have them! Everyone gets something. Prizes are as follows:
* All players receive a copy of the 2012 Regionals promo, Kobayashi Maru Scenario (if more than eight attend, this card will go to the top eight players)
* All players, upon pre-registration, will receive a copy of the Official Tournament Sealed Deck (OTSD) product.
* All players, in order of finish, will receive one pick from a prize pool consisting of various premium cards, tournament promos, and foils.
* In addition to all this, our first place winner will also receive an Unlimited Premiere booster box.
