1E Standard (X-List) tournament, with a small revision to what "Standard" means. See thread for commentary.
In the numbered list of cards or sets that are excluded from the format, eliminate rule 5, which says this:
[strike]5. Cards in the Virtual Promos set (unless
the original version of that card appears in
a legal set).[/strike]
Under "Clarification of reprints", replace the first sentence of the second paragraph with this:
If a card has been reprinted in the errata file or the Virtual Promos list, that does not change whether the card is legal.
The paragraph then continues with examples of how Amanada Rogers and Barclay's Protomorphosis Disease are not legal. I add this new example (and the point of this change): Tribunal of Q and Q's Tent: Civil War -- which are in the Virtual Promos list, but not as reprints -- are legal, because they are not in the proscribed sets (PAQ and HA).
Additional standard info:
- LackeyCCG is required to play. Skype (even if you don't have a microphone) is very highly recommended.
- Rules/Banned cards/legal cards in effect at the start of the tournament remain in effect throughout.
- You may NOT change your decks between rounds. |
