Joseph Wisniewski (geraldkw) Tournament Report - 1E - Online Event 2024-06-24 - 12:00 AM Vidiian brand - organ enhancing procedure - new formula Introduction I didn't have a lot of time for deckbuilding so I watched Kevin's video and played his Organ Enhancing Formula deck and a slightly revised version of a hologram fed solver I had enjoyed playing previously. Thanks Kevin for the fun deck, I at least managed to win once with it! Round 1 Brian Sykes FL (-100) I didn't do the Search for Spares download because there was nowhere to build an outpost in the Mirror Quadrant and he had Regency 1 right away. In retrospect it might have at least wasted some of his time and not cost me that much to do the download. I think the rest of it was mainly KCA being faster. Maybe I should have tried getting some ships and heading to the Mirror to attack. Round 2 Jared Hoffman FL (-80)View opponent's ReportView original Report I made a few mistakes which I immediately regretted. The game was pretty close I might have had a better chance if I played better. It's been a while to remember what happened exactly. I do remember that I had trouble with holograms being unable to relocate for Hippocratic Oath and I went to that mission twice with only holo medical feeling really silly the second time. Vidiian. This game was a race. I played 2 peeps and organ thefted myself for 2 many, but not all of the turns. Round 3 Jarrod Cafaro FW (+27) Luckily I was able to solve Preliminary Incursion with my Organ Bank team before it got blown up. I then was able to hide in the delta and never open the wormhole, and win the solving race narrowly. Round 4 Paddy Tye FL (-35)View opponent's ReportView original Report Paddy wasn't playing most of the new Vidiaan tech, but was able to process ore pretty easily since I wasn't going to the Delta quadrant. I went for Test Mission first and Paddy's scout ship showed up in time to chop up Alyssa Ogawa whom I downloaded specifically for HippoOath this time. I was able to download one more Transporter Skill and use Fitting in with Revised Seven for the 3rd and got 30 points. I solved another space mission and Paddy hit a Thasian/higherfewer/dead end, then worked his way through another mission. I went for my planet mission and got Deneven Parasites and some other trouble that I couldn't cheese through in time to stop him from blitzing a couple missions next turn and winning. Vidiian again! Closer match this time. Joe’s Holograms weren’t getting killed but I managed to squeeze through and complete a second mission and had left a solving crew behind at Dead End to pick up a third on same turn. Closing Thoughts I had fun with all of the games, the Vidiaans(sic?) are interesting now. Thanks to my opponents and sorry to take so long for the last round.
