Introduction
Monthly tournament! I brought an only-Vulcans Kolinahr deck.

Round 1BajoranNon-AlignedRemo GFW (+100)
Remo had Ferengi (Community Leader / Wardroom for GQ) and the Squire. I alternated between the two missions I planned to solve, building up for one wall while I dealt with the other. After a while I did play Reliquary and use it before solving my first mission, then went for the second mission and Phoenix points. Reun was played earlier when I ran out of other card plays, and V'Las joined it. I didn't use Only Logical in this game, since there is no logic to the Squire. Remo took a point hit with Edo/DeadEnd, and offset it a little with a Dabo.

Round 2FederationJon ForsmanFW (+96)
I didn't get Reliquary in time for my first solve, so I did 3 missions. The first dil at my combo mission was a tough wall, Emergency Conversion, and I didn't draw into Astro the whole game. So I solved Vulcan second, and headed down to my other space mission (with Launch Portal for a range boost). Jon, who was playing Ent-E in the DQ (FFR/NewEarth), had been building and tried a mission with his only ship, the EE … and lost it to V'Ger. He thought he could recover with FF:Recovered, but then noticed it will only get you a *different* ship. At my space mission, I lost people to Persistent and passed it with T'Pol's download of Database (onto the shuttle!), and passed the final wall and solved on the following turn.

Round 3VidiianKris SonstebyMW (+2)
Kris was playing Vidiian with the new tools (Surgical, Organ Bank), and Let Me Help. With Organ Bank out, I know that job #1 is destroying it, so for several turns I focused on building for that (and on not giving Kris extra reports). My opening hand had several ships, so I didn't even need to use Spacedoor much – but I didn't get a lot of personnel, and even fewer leaders to start the battle. I played Neuropressure early because I really needed to draw into those people, even though the draws benefited Kris more. Just before I was ready to attack, he lost his DQ ship to V'ger, and pulled the Organ Bank back through the Barzan Wormhole to solve there. [Score: 0-35] So I went for a planet mission, away from the Terminus. Soon it had a Volcanic Eruption and Atmospheric Ionization, and eventually I was at the last dil, MatSoc (boosted to 3 females), with Atmos imposing a 3-beam limit. Well, I can do that, just a little slowly – and first, I pulled all my people back to the OP because the Organ Bank had returned, and I staffed 4 ships (weapons 26) to destroy it. I flew back to the mission with enough people to solve, beamed down 3 females to pass the dil but not solve. He got a new ship, flew to AQ, and played a QSD to reach my ship (I knew he had that, but I forgot it could get him anywhere on the spaceline, so I thought it was safe to leave people on the ship), then V Boarding Claw and he used Organ Theft on Soval, my Diplo mission skill. (Took his ears, I guess?) [0-45] Start of my turn, Volcano killed one of my females; I reported Lojal for more Dip, flew him and others over … and had an idea for blowing up his ship again … but the priority was to solve the mission and get points. So I beamed down 3 people, total of 5 on the planet now, and solved (and earned Kirshara, giving me Surak and Reliquary points). [47-45]. I also beamed off the clawed ship, and flew V'Las back to past-Vulcan where I had earlier played RomReun [57-45]. Kris then also left my clawed ship, and beamed a person to the planet to take T'Pol's ears [57-55] – I had 4 left on the planet now. On my turn (last one, time was short), Volcano killed another, bringing me to the magic number of 3 on the planet. They beamed up. With a 2-point lead, I just didn't want to risk leaving my people anywhere he could Organ Theft them. I flew all my people (except a few recent reports at the outpost) to the time location. On his turn, he couldn't reach any of my people, all at the time location or my outpost. (He noted that if I had Protect the Timeline, that would allow him to time travel, but Kolinahr doesn't.) So he made a stab at a mission, but failed the first wall. Final MW 57-55.

Closing Thoughts
Whew! I haven't won a tournament in a while.
