I'm Setting Booty Traps... You Mean Booby Traps? |
Introduction |
In an effort to fine tune my TNG Klingon build prior to Worlds, I made a few personnel changes and swapped in a dilemma or two before unloading the design once again on the local scene. Despite the final scores, my games against The Prodigy and JTG were anything but easy. |
Round 1 | | Joe Kallstrom | FW (+100) |
The King of Chaos was experimenting with TNG Feds, and as a relative newcomer I graciously let him go first and pull off a couple take backs. Once I eventually got moving, I plowed through a Holographic Ruse combo at Reported Activity and somehow one-shot solved Pegasus Search for the quick count win. FW 100-0. |
Round 2 | | Robert Petersen | FW (+30) |
The Prodigy was co-chairing Starfleet MACO's, but unceremoniously found a Cytherians at Study Rare Phenomenon. Cobbling together my firepower in an effort to force his Enterprise back to hand, I bought myself just enough time to nail down the victory at Wormhole Negotiations after losing the Pagh to Null Space. FW 100-70. |
Round 3 | | Jason Tang | FW (+60) |
JTG was testing out unstoppable TNG Feds, and was easily keeping pace with my free reports as my Mirror Image was working double time. Finding myself stuck behind a DNA Security Scan late, Kahless then dialed in a Warrior's Birthright to bring glory to the Empire once again. FW 100-40. |

Closing Thoughts |
This deck feels like my strongest 1E option currently, and one that will undoubtedly see play at the World Championships in October. While it is largely a no-frills solver, overcoming 20 dilemmas inside of 6-8 turns in order to beat it has proved to be no small task for my opponents. |
