You Cant Use it Up... it Goes Forever |
Introduction |
Deck list was created entirely from memory, so there may be a card or two that is incorrect. This was a pretty cool little Warp Speed build. I got LORE and a Soong-type, then drafted Occular Implants on a lark. Experience Bij!, Linguistic Legerdemain, and Subspace Fracture were my all-star dilemmas. I also pulled a Renewed Spirit for Impose Order and a Smoke Bomb to use with Trilithium Raid. |

Round 1 | | James Heaney | FW (+70) |
I scouted all of James' nasty space dilemmas via LORE & OI in my opening hand. Apologies for "cheating" through all your good stuff! |

Round 2 | | Steve Nelson | FW (+40) |
Steve went boom on Subspace Fracture because he lacked Science. Sorry, dude! |

Round 3 | | Jason Tang | FW (+35)View opponent's ReportView original Report |
I blew up Jason's ship to strand him at his distant planet mission and Renewed Spirit got me a 2nd attempt. Great game as always, Cube Master! |
This was definitely a chess match. I get an early Bat'leth via Prepare Assault Teams, and start chipping away at the 4 dilemmas under the Tournament. Kris amazes me by downloading Romulans to my facility with Trilithium Raid, then Smoke Bombing all my personnel on the next turn. I eventually realize that, having drawn one of my two Transporter Skill as well as Reginod, I would be better off trying to bust through the two dilemmas under my far mission, Save Stranded Crew. I was correct, but had to tread carefully as Kris had 3 ships ready to attack me. I had sent the Goraxus in hopes of Ambushing his Apnex, but Kris avoids that danger. Goraxus avoids a direct hit thanks to the Plasmadyne Relay, and I evacuate everyone to the planet and solve. (Ironically becoming a stranded crew in the process.)
My rescue ship, though, needs to stay uncloaked in order for my Conundrum to hit. It does, and All-Consuming Evil downloading Armus: Energy Field buys me at least one more turn at his outpost mission, but time goes off, and Kris has enough redundant ships and personnel that he can finish his second mission on the last turn of the game. |
