Spaceball One... They've Gone to Plaid! |
Introduction |
For coffeehouse rewind version 2.0 I wanted to pay my respects to The Original Champion, the former coffeehouse gig admin, by piloting a V-card infused iteration of the Tain build I squared off against in my first game back from retirement circa winter 2007. Unsurprisingly, the build worked just as well now as it did then. |

Round 1 | | Daniel J. Wasowicz | FW (0)View opponent's ReportView original Report |
Thunder Dan was engineering a TNG integrity solver, but couldn’t seem to stop my frequently comforted Guls and Legates. An ill-timed Coolant Leak granted him a free pass at Track Survivors, but I turned on the jets thanks in large part to The Central Command. FW 100-45. |
100-45 ~sigh~ What can you say? You go up against Kris, you had better know what your'e doing. I don't. Hence my score. My NAKED juice from Dunn Bros was delicious though. Mmmm. |

Round 2 | | Lillian Chan | FW (0) |
The Asian Sensation was co-chairing my Nationals: West Cadet deck, but was stuck at Practice Orbital Maneuvers for what seemed like ages. Her picking the wrong guy with Well Prepared Defenses at Extraction earned me a mission and win in overtime. FW 100-40. |

Round 3 | | Daniel Allman | FW (0) |
The Berserker was dealing a revised version of the Klingon deck he used at King of the Ring and had me on the ropes the entire match. A pivotal late-game mistake at Brute Force gave me a turn, and in effect gift-wrapped the tournament for the Union. FW 100-70. |
