Motorboat?... You Play the Motorboat? |
Introduction |
'Trek Bowl 2011 officially kicked off with some hot sealed action in the form of an ID Draft. Angling on playing either Maquis or Bajoran, I jumped into the For the Cause pod only to be dealt Cardassia and DS9-Earth, but I made the most of the situation by running straight Cardies with some capture shenanigans. |

Round 1 | | Ben Johnson | FW (+35)View opponent's ReportView original Report |
Mankind was employing DS9-E / Maquis, but didn't get a ship in play until roughly turn 5. A lucky pull on Unfair Terms and two key peeps being captured by Evek kept me a few steps ahead in this warp speed affair. FW 70-35. |
Lost 3 people to a kill dilemma and forgot I had Escape in hand. Kris offered to let me save them since I'd still fail the mission, but i said 'no they're dead. I'll remember next time'. Lost 35-70 |

Round 2 | | Amber Van Breemen | FL (-35) |
The Glamazon was co-chairing Dominion / DS9, benefiting greatly from previous format experience. A solid stop at Study Cometary Cloud by her followed by a Best Interests at Heart whiff by me earned her the hard fought victory. FL 70-35. |

Round 3 | | Chris Volk | FW (+70) |
The Instant Classic was also playing DS9-E / Maquis, but was effectively locked out of his planet mission due to losing 4 vital personnel thanks to Evek and Ensnared. Despite the setback, he made a valiant comeback effort yet couldn't quite recover in time. FW 70-0. |
