Introduction |
For our final 2E Northern Lights league event, I felt compelled to pay my respects to both The Original Champion and the Coup de Grace faction by standing in with a timeless traditionalist TNG Cadet build. Despite a banana peel first match, I was honored to have played the design in their stead. |

Round 1 | | Nat Kirton | ML (-5) |
The Beast from the East was rocking DS9 / Under Siege, but my throw back dilemma pile hung him up at his first mission for an eternity. Two mental mistakes, one mid-game and one at the wire, threw away what by all accounts was a pretty convincing victory. ML 75-70. |

Round 2 | | Loren Burr | FW (+100) |
The Axe was as usual captaining Cardassian Capture, tossing a half dozen of my All-Stars in the brig early. However, I recovered with a sneaky Qel’Poh / Kirk trick in space and then blitzed through my planet missions in what would be the most enjoyable game of the weekend. FW 100-0. |

|
Round 3 | | Steve Nelson | FW (+65) |
The Full Nelson was schooling me on Maquis, easily getting his Artificial Wormhole to hit because of its anti-Cadet game text. However, I eventually rescued my troop following a well-timed Dreamer, and then power-bombed my backup space mission at the buzzer to salvage a winning record. FW 100-35. |
