Tournament Report - 1E - Local Event (Mission to Talos IV)

Federation...You Just Took One in the Jugular, Man!
Introduction
The n.W.o. took control of T2E's airwaves for a pre-Thanksgiving showdown in the form of the Souled Out PPV, which was MN Land's first official Mission to Talos IV event. Sanctioning ended up being threatened after several last minute cancellations, but thankfully The Full Nelson was able to drop in and make it a Fatal-4-Way.

Round 1KlingonSteve NelsonFW (+10)
The Full Nelson was piloting a space heavy triple treaty design, easily scoring three missions thanks to my no-dual dilemma pile. However, losing Narik to a Firestorm at planet allowed me to score just enough Colony points at Impose Order to win at the wire. FW 100-90.

Round 2FederationBarry WindschitlFL (-60)View opponent's Report
The Genius was rocking a primarily Federation build, though was sent scurrying down the spaceline with encouragement from my armada. Unfortunately, I hit a Barclay's Disease in an attempt for the win, which gifted him plenty of time to sift through missions and steal his way to 100 points. FL 100-40.

Round 3KlingonRomulanMike HarringtonFL (-68)
The Natural was captaining a Q-infused Kling / Rom deck that stole missions and built androids. Boratus and self seeds kept me in it early, but a couple sick random selections, an ill-timed battle, and a nasty encounter with a Q-flash all but sealed my fate in this latest installment of our timeless rivalry. FL 100-32.

Closing Thoughts
Despite collecting a ton of space and planet only dilemmas in packs, this OTSD+ creation suffered greatly from the lack of duals, most notably Unscientific Method. And as I learned the hard way in round 2, powerful dual dilemmas, particularly when used in combination, are still a god send in this format.
